I just want the people out there to know how bad service is will BELL. Theese guys are awful, a bunch of thieves and will always take advantage of you especially at your weakest momemt. I have (HAD) a pay as you go phone with BELL. I only used it in emergencies and put minutes on the card from time to time. I hardly used the minutes and lost hundreds of minutes as they expired getting no use for the money paid. To me the phone was security and I accepted that. (A nice cash cow for BELL). Today I uploaded a $25 dollar card to my account but it never became active.
I said to myself...This is wierd and called them. It turns out that BELL cancelled my pay as you go account, assigned the number to someone else because I went over 90 days without applying minutes. In short I just uploaded my $25 dollar card to someone elses account (Unknowingly). I was furious with bell who basically said too bad "You didnt upload any cards and it expired. BELL has the right to re assign the number to someone elas" (And they did).
They did not advise me of this change, when I called to upload the minutes I did not receive any warnings or notification my account was now gone. I entered my mobile phone number and it said press 1 now to add minutes to your account. (What a scam).
RESULT:
I called BELL, complained, they said sorry we cannott refund your money. The offered to give me a new number and reactivate the phone for another $50 fee but I refuse to ever deal with theese thieves again. Basically, I just uploaded my money to someone elses account. BELL is the absolute bottom of the barrell garbage, money grabbing, rude, ignorant, ungreatful bunch of takers out there on the market. If you become a BELL customer you WILL find out first hand exactly how frusterated I am with BELL.
HEED MY WARNING AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BELL. YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY AND YOU WILL PART WITH YOUR MONEY.
They have turned me in to an angry person who is now on a campaign to warn the public about these thieves. Ask questions and dont be afraid to stand up for your rights.
