Stay away from this fraudulent company
I was lied to by the sales rep. He told me the online prices were more expensive, but it turns out he majorly overcharged me. This is definitely a scam. Do not buy these products. It is not okay to charge people ridiculous prices and then lie to them about it. Furthermore the entire company is not available. I called the numbers on their website and they do not work. They cannot be looked up by 411 either, no matter what you ask. I don't know how they are getting away with this, but stay away. Go to a reputable place to get your makeup. Not to mention it is really expensive. Stay away from this fraudulent company. They are crooks and won't last long.

They are not in stores, but are in those vendor booths at the mall. The sales people are pushy and don't take no for an answer. He will try to act like he really cares about your skin, but all they care about is selling overpriced make up and facial products. Don't go for it. Run in the opposite direction.

Scam buisiness practices
I was at The Woodlands Mall on Dec. 1st 2010 picking up new contact lenses and then going to Sephora. The sales clerk "Dvir" stopped me. They try every time I go to the mall and it irritates me, but for whatever reason I stopped and tried to be polite and hear him out. Once he "got me" he had me sit in the chair to show me the product. I was trapped! He talked and double talked and "made me a deal" or so he said. My gut did not trust him...but stuff was going in and out and back in a bag so fast it made my head spin. He went so far as to tell me if I didn't like it he would even give me my money back. When it came time to pay he said cash or debit only. I told him I would pay by check or purchase nothing. He said "ok" to the check because he wanted to sucker me for $199.99. I started to fill out my check and that is when I noticed that the receipt was stamped with "no refund- all sales final". I stopped filling out my check and said "hey, you said I could return it and get my money back if I did not like it?" He tried some more fast talking and I wrote on the receipt unless still new on 12/4 and would not fill out my check until he agreed to sign it. I had such a BAD gut feeling when I walked away. The next morning I canceled the check at 8:30 in the morning and when the mall opened I went up there with all of the products from the prior evening to return them. I asked for him and the 2 girls there said he was not there so I told them what was going on and I felt scammed and wanted my check back for the product (I did not tell them it was cancelled yet so I could see how they were going to handle the situation). They said they could not do that...so I demanded to speak to him and they called them on her cell phone and started talking to him in a language I don't know. She was smiling and laughing and hung up the phone. She still said no but I pressed the issue so she wrote down a # and said i had to call "Leon" so I did while I was standing in front of her. He tried to give the same "no refund" statement but I told him his salesperson not only verbalized a money back offer during his sales pitch and I made him write on the receipt he told me I should take the product back with me and fax him a copy of the sales ticket for his review first and they would get back with me. I told him I took a picture of it with my cell phone and would e-mail it to him and he said ok, but I should hold on to the product still. I at that point informed him I had put a stop payment on the check and I was leaving the product and i would e-mail him the ticket. I took pictures the whole time of everything. I hope this is the end of my dealings with these scam artist!! This was a $14.00 stop payment fee, but could have been much much worse. Please DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BELLA TERRA mall kiosk's. WHAT A SCAM!!

harassment to buy product
I was shopping at Memorial City Mall when I passed by a Bella Terra cosmetics kiosk. The salesperson stopped me and usually I don't even pay attention, but I like makeup so i stopped. Some of their eyeshadow stacks caught my interest. The salesman was giving me the pitchline and insisting I purchase some mineral makeup because it doesn't break out your skin. My skin is very clear, but he wouldn't stop talking about it, even when i had a question about the eyeshadow stacks. Finally I asked how much they were and he reluctantly told me $60. For a makeup kiosk this seemed outrageous so I politely told him that i was in a hurry and would think about it. I turned and left, turned around briefly about 20 steps away from the kiosk and to my surprise the guy was about 5 feet behind me, STILL trying to sell me foundation. Luckily my husband was insight so I just gave the guy a nasty look and walked away fast. Doing some research on their products, they contain some very bad ingredients, some of which cause cancer, infertility, and other devestating conditions. I do not recommend buying from them!!

Scam at Memorial City mall kiosk
Yesterday, September 11, I went shopping at Memorial City Mall located
at 303 Memorial City Houston, Texas and as I was walking to the food
court a man named David from Bella Terra mineral cosmetics kiosk (KG
Cosmetics Group INC) stopped me asking me to try the makeup. I said no
but he insisted so I said yes and sat down to listen to his pitch sales.
At the end of the demonstration I told him I wasn't interested on buying the product. He got upset and told me that I wasted his time and I should pay the $35 for the "makeover". I wasn't offer a makeover and I didn't get a makeover but he insisted that I either pay his fee or pay for the makeup. I agreed to pay for the makeup as I am pregnant and I was starting to feel bad with contractions because I was intimidated by him.
When I gave him my credit card he mentioned that I have money so he
started to prepare a bag with 4 more products and pushing again for me
to pay for them an extra $200. I said no but he charged me more than he told me. (he said $69 and he charged $75.76)
I understand sales pressure but I think this is a scam as my daughter
later reminded me that David said "no charge" in the beginning.
When I arrive home I checked the website on the bag he gave me
www.bellaterracosmetics.com and the products were considerably lower
in price (example foundation brush, David $69 VS website $24.99)

He has this phone number on the ticket 713-468-1703 and on ink this
other one 713-386-8216.
Don't fall for it!!

Refunds & selling practices
My naive 17-yr-old daughter was approached by a very agressive salesperson who managed to talk her into a $378 purchase. The next day she realized what had happened and we tried to return the product but the salespeople in the Galleria kiosk refused and referred us to customer service. We sent a copy of the receipt to a person there named Leon who later refused to answer his phone or respond to email. I can't imagine how these people can, with a clear conscience, prey upon teenagers like this.
This business has a BBB rating of F. It has never answered a complaint against it.

Returns
I purchased some foundation powder a few months ago. The price I was quoted was "about $60" from the thick accented sales woman. Pretty expensive i thought. I bouht it and during the purchase i got a phone call. I gave her my card and she quickly shoved the sales receipt in the bag. I pulled out my receipt not 20 feet from the stand and saw that my total with tax was $75. The makeup was 69.99. So i quickly walk back to return it, just to expensive for my taste. I politely explain that i didn't realize it would be that much, i would like my money back. She poped her gum gave me this hellish look and gave me a business card and said "sorry, no returns" and walked away to the mall doors, leaving me at the empty stand. So i call the headquarters and after about the 7th time of being put on hold, and hung up on, i gave up. There's no sign saying "no returns" just on my crumbled receipt in tiny letters on the back.
