I own a 1997 Cadillac Catera, it broke down, I had it towed to this company, due to it's location. Company told me my engine was no good, needed to be replaced. Company got me financing thru 3rd party vendor. Engine was replaced with a used engine with about 76000 miles on it. All repairs including labor and parts should have been covered by financing. 30 day warranty on engine, from company engine was bought from. 1st day I got the car back, it ran hot and "Check Engine " light came on. I took car back to repair shop, owner informed me that it needed a "Idler Control Valve", his first price for part was $250. When he actually got the new part, he tried to charge me $500 for it. I was able to find the exact same new part online for as low as $200. He was very rude and acted like I was an idiot. I balked at the price tag for the part. I asked Doug if he could have found it a lot cheaper somewhere else, he replied that he wasn't going to spend half the day looking for a 1 hour part job.It's actually more like a 10 minute job. He then said he has to install the part or my warranty is gone. He said " If you don't want it put on, then fuck you". This guy has been trying to railroad me since day 1. I have already paid $400 cash. Doug waited until he knew how much the finance company would lend me, then he started changing things up. I had to buy 2 or 3 parts out of my pocket. Now I still don't have a properly running vehicle. Doug, the owner refuses to help. Also, they had my car for 1 month, until it was finally done. I have contacted the financing company, waiting for a reply.
