My daughter purchased 4 books on the website DiscountBookSales.com, I paid for them with my debit card. The shipping charges seemed a little high for 4 little paperbacks, but I paid it thinking it would be quick shipping. The books took two weeks to arrive. At that time we realized that they had made three charges to our bank account. I called my bank and they told me that I was not the first to complain about the company Best Brand Value who is the parent company of Discount Book sales.
I called the phone number on the website to get the total run around. It seems they have a monthly charge and there is a surcharge for ordering from them. I raised Cain to be told that a refund would take upto two months.

Stay away from these companies!

I did a google search for some thomas the train DVD's and was sent to a really great site, so I thought. I purchased to dvd's over a month ago and paid around $9. Over a month later I see two charges on my bank account from BBV movies. I again did a google search and found out who they were. Luckly I got through and the lady said smthing about a membership and the charges were for that and the movies. I told her that I didnt sign up fora membership and I paid for the movies over 1 month again. She said she would cancel my membership and refund my money as a "1 time curtosey".
This has scam writen all over it... They use your email address that you enter when you order to "set up your account".. luckly I use the same passwords and logins for everything.. This is my last time ordering online!!!
