I ordered a paperback book from them in June 09. Less than $10.00 with shipping. I received the book and thought we were "done".

Unfortunately I have not looked closely at my credit card statement since then. Just glance at it to match up major receipts. I did yesterday and noticed a $19.95 charge from Discount Book Sales. I called the number on file and they told me that that is the monthly membership charge that I signed up for. I denied that and the unidentified associate cancelled my membership and refunded the February charge then hung up. Now I have to see if I can go after the other $100.00 plus that they charged these last 6 months!

This is a scam. Totally illegal. They should be shut down and prosecuted.
