My 13 year old son purchased an XBox 360 from Bestbuy.com refurbished by Xbox. After 35 days it broke. Best Buy stated that it was beyond the time for return. They said we had to send it to Xbox. After days and hours of demanding that Xbox fix the console they finally sent us a return label. 3 weeks later they shipped the console back to us still broken. The letter stated that it had internal tampering. Best Buy assured us that the unit was refurbished by Xbox. Xbox stated Best Buy was responsible. After many hours on the phone and being placed on hold for over an hour by both companies, neither company was willing to fix the unit or refund our money. Both these multi billion dollar companies are pointing the finger at each other, while me, as the consumer, is left with no recourse.
