2 new mother boards, a replaced DVD unit and now the memory failed their "diagnostic test" I have been without my essential work tool now for 5 plus weeks. I am a teacher and go to grad school- even the lap top they had me buy as a replacement and then I could return it did not have word so the store geek put some free ware on it- well it is infected now and I refuse to use it- their response- we are sorry, you can go back to the sales floor- return it and purchase another one, which you can return when yours is fixed again!! No way!! I wonder what a best buy boss would say if I took his work computer and said sorry-yes sorry- oh sorry! I no longer trust the sales persons, store personal, geek squad and the computer they sold me originally. Oh yes the latest memory failure happened at the store when I was picking it up from its "repair" We turned it on to check it and it would not turn Off! I was told oh bring it home it will spool up there- no I said and I insisted they close out the last repair and open this as a new one. It also took 5 days for the store to call me back to say it failed and may they send it out again now? It will be two to three more weeks. Too bad my OnLine graduate course is 5 weeks long and I am expected to do a semesters amount of work- plus my school lesson plans, correspondence and reports! Oh yeah- best buy is very sorry. I can not even find an email or way to call them. No one answers and the complaint department " times out" when trying to send complaint message. To talk to a geek I have to give my email and password- No!! I guess for me its small claims court.
