my family and I were visiting family and friends that we hadn't seen in 3 years. We upgraded to a beachfront view with a king size bed and jaccuzi suite so that our friends could come to our room catch up and enjoy the view. In the morning of our first day we left a "Housekeeping please" sign on our door and went out for 4 hours. When our friends arrived we went back to the room to find the sign still on the door and the room still dirty. As soon as we arrived the cleaning lady came in and wanted to clean the room. I asked her if she could come back and she refused. She asked me in spanish if i could speak spanish and I told her in spanish a little. She was very rude and made a big scene rolling her eyes and shaking her head because i couldn't spk the language. She embarrassed me infront of my friends. My friend, a Border Patrol Agent spoke with her in spanish and asked her if she could please come back. The lady said she would not come back to clean the room so we could leave or she could take out the trash. We left. later that nite we came back to find no cups, coffee, or fresh towelsand the sheets had not been changed nor had the jacuzzi been cleaned. I called down to the front desk and asked for cups and coffee, the man stated i would have to come get them. In the morning we got up early to enjoy the "breakfast buffet" after brushing my teeth Iwent to the "living area" to find my 18 month old playing with a roach! I was furious! We packed our things ( I put the roach in a clear bag and showed it to the front desk) when we checked out I told them about our stay and asked for a Manager the man I spoke with stated he was a manager (what a coincident) I did not feel that this matter was rectified.
