This company has been charging $9.95 on my credit card since I ordered some books online
Beware... This company has been charging $9.95 on my credit card since I ordered some books online. They snuck a $5.00 discount in the sale & without telling me I would be charged the monthly fee... Stay away from this Company & call your CC Company & dispute the charges...

Stay away from Bestbrandvalues.com
I placed a large order for books on a Wednesday, get an email on Friday evening saying my 3 day free trial membership is over on Saturday and I will be charged $19.95/month or I can call their 24/7 phone line to cancel. Conveniently enough the phone line is a perpetual busy signal. So I tried to cancel online where you click to cancel membership and it asks for your password, which again I did not setup. They have the whole site rigged for you to fail at cancelling any supposed membership that you signed up for yet they still have all of your information available to them.
The entire search engines need to be informed of their fraudulent activity so that they will be removed from key optimization words when people search for certain products. My bank said for me to file an online fraud police report and bring it back to the bank so I can get my money back. Everyone that gets ripped off like this needs to do this so they don’t keep walking away with our money.
People we have to fight this corruption and stop this company and others like it from making a living off of our misfortunate trust.

charged for months for something never ordered or approved
I ordered 2 books from an online site in july of 2010. I looked at my checking account info today and noted a charge today for 9.95. I called my bank not aware of ordering anything by this company called...BestBrandValues.com. I was told to call them and then if I wanted we would block the card and issue a new one. I called and was told that I ordered a book back in july and the charge was for that. I told them why are you just now taking out the monies?..she said that was standard.. LIE!!!
so I went and logged back on to my banking site and looked all the way back to july when I purchased a book and noted I was charged back then 23.38 then and an additional 9.95 a month since then, didnt even know it. called them back and she put a man on the phone who stated I ordered it and had three days to cancel if I so chose to do that. I said cancel what?...he went on to say I should have gotten an email that gave me 7 days to decline their service if I so chose to.. I asked what the service was and he laughed. I was enraged and filed fraud charges with my bank, also closed that cc account.

$20 a month is quite a scam
I too have been scammed by BBV. I don't even remember ever ordering from them and have been seeing the $19.95 monthly charge. I've been ill and unable to chase it down until now. I do not recall EVER receiving any email from them. I did not sign up for membership with them. Is there any way to prosecute these scumbags for such underhanded practices? I'm really steamed about this. $20 a month is quite a scam.

Charge for membership not applied for
In January, I ordered 3 DVD's from HotMovies (BestBrandValues). I received several e-mails telling me they were back-ordered until, finally, I received one telling me my order was canceled. When I got my credit card statement, there was a charge of $9.95 from Best Brand Values. I called on February 8th and was told that when I placed my order, they sent me an e-mail confirming my membership. I kept all my e-mails from them and did NOT receive such an e-mail. I told the person I spoke to that I did NOT get that e-mail. She offered several times to forward it to me, but I refused and told her I did not want a membership and I wanted my credit card credited. After several times of telling her that was all I wanted, she agreed to cancel my membership and refund the $9.95. What she neglected to tell me was that they had charged me another $9.95 on February 7th. I have made several attempts to call them, I've tried e-mailing by responding to their e-mail and I have no luck with either. I did NOT receive one thing from this company and they have charged me $9.95 for it! I want a refund!

Undisclosed Membership
I purchased 4 books and when I paid my credit card bill I noticed an additional charge for $19.95. I called and was told this was a membership fee. I didn't know anything about it. They continue to charge until you cancel. Unbelievable!

Book order
I purchased a book on-line on 7 July 2009 through HotBookSale.com. Within the hour I received an e-mail from BestBrandValues.com thanking me for becoming a member of their club and telling me that unless I canceled my "membership" within three days my credit card on file will be charged $19.95 monthly. Wow, that was fast. Their website didn't indicate you'd become a member when you purchased a book. I've tried to cancel by calling their toll-free 866-529-3413 but it is always answered by a recorder.
