My family has always used Best Buy. We like it & give & get their gift cards as presents. We're always perusing their Sunday ads & one Sunday, they had a Kodak digital camera on sale that would be perfect to give to my Mother-In-Law since she can't find film for her Polaroid anymore.
Bestbuyonline showed that camera was in stock in the store I use but I couldn't get there that day & I didn't know if they would still have stock later in the week. I ordered it online & got confirmation that I could pick it up in the store. 3 hours later, I happened to be checking email & Bestbuy says the camera's not available & to call to have it shipped. I call & speak to a CSR that confirms the only store that has it is in VA. He cannot explain why I had confirmation to pick it up. So, now I have to pay for shipping & I need it quick so I now have to take a day off of work to meet the mailman 'cos the CSR assures me it won't be delivered w/o a signature. At least I only pay $6 for the 2 day delivery & it came the day it was promised but don't you know it? There was a knock on the door & when I opened it, the box was sitting on the doormat.
My gripe is that Bestbuy should know whether they have stock or not.
