I joined Direct Buy after a lot of pressuring and financied a membership through Beta Finance Company, Inc. Since I have always worked a job that paid only once monthly and that being the last working day of the month. I generally sit down and pay all bills by the first of the month so that everything is paid until the next check. My Beta Finance payment is due on the 19th of each month; therefore, I was paying prior to due date. They are so cheap the do not send payment booklets to customers, they mail them monthly. It is my thoughts this is to confuse people as to exact number of payments made to pay balance of loan. Each month I got my bill it did not reflect the early payment and had tacked on late charges. I called them 2-3 times and asked it they had a problem with early payments ? They assured me they would correct the problem. Not, I wrote a letter telling them my thoughts on the situation and stopped sending early payments. Now I getting harrassing mail that my payment is overdue and I better send in a payment immediately. I get this in the mail prior to the due date of the 19th. I have the last statement they mailed me showing all payments current and no overdue charges.

My advice to everyone is avoid Direct Buy, unless you intend to buy a ton of merchandise. Otherwise its a big waste of money, I wasted $3, 000.00 of my money . I could have had a nice vacation instead of being harrassed and stressed by the clowns at Beta Finance.. Also by all means avoid any membership financed by Beta Finance Inc, Crown Point, IN
