Low-Rate Voip says, "Buying credit entitles you to 120 Freedays (unless stated otherwise). This means you can call all countries marked as "Free" in our rates list for a period of 120 days at no costs. When the 120 days are over, the normal rate will be charged for these destinations. You can get more Freedays by topping up your account with credit." But, I was only given 30 freedays (not 120 as advertised) for 10 Euros. Also I can't buy more credit to top up my freedays as advertised, i.e. I was told to use my remaining credit to calls my friends by charging at more expensive rates. Despite my compliants a few times, Low Rate Voip kept telling me to use up my remaining credit before topping up and try to use other method ( not mentioned ) of payment. I strong that the company is cheating customers buying their service on-line.
As they have failed to put these matters right despite my recent complaints, I have now lodged a formal complaint to UK ECC with hope that new customers will not be cheated/mislead in the future.
