After Dr. Swaby said a severely handicapped, disabled and elderly person could be discharged from the hospital against medical advice, Beverly Fong - Administrator of Elmhurst Hospital called the police and who took the quiet woman and took her to the Psychological ward because the family had threatened to sue regarding a prior unsafe discharge. Beverly Fong and Dr. Swaby refused to listen to the woman and her guardian and have her lung biopsied for cancer, and refused cancer treatment to the patient because she was without funds to pay and adequate insurance but subjected this lovely woman to many intrusive tests for her heart. In September 2010, the hospital falsified the woman's record, let a woman go home without supplying any help, and then the social worker fabricated that the woman's health insurance did not cover the home health aids and fabricated the medical records. This treatment of the woman is because many complaints have been made to the Department of Health and a lawsuit has been commenced. Dr. Ladapo refused to see the patient and also unlawfully imprisoned her by not releasing her.
