Harrassment from sales/service dept on new connection
I ( PINAKIN DESAI) have purchansed add on SIM card ( 9740099902) from Bharti Airtel bangalore indiranagar outlet branch on 08/08/2008 but it was not activated till 11/08/2008 and when i called caustomer care, they informed that the SIM no provided by sales was allready activated for differant person. I spoke to fllor manager ( Mrs Purna ) also but thier response is not good and asked me to contact sales person only. I said then what is customer sales service if i have to contact personally only. Even they are not ready to provide sales office contact no. I have to travel all the way to indiaranagr and spend petrol and time to solve this matter just because of AIRTEL fault. Kindly request to take up necessory action and advice anything i have to do further in this matter.My contact no is 9845546779.

Wrong deduction of balance
I varun mohan, the owner of the airtel connection no. 9997663440 has not requested for any type of the value added service even then I have been subscribed for the shayri seva by the airtel network and being charged every week continuously. When I complained for the same, the customer care executives told that such a service is not activated on my number. Even then my balance is continuously being deducted.
Besides this, my tariff plan has been terminated some days before the actual date and my balance is reduced illegally. When I tried to complain, no execute or any representative wants to talk.

Airtel Worst Service and Cheating Everyone!
Airtel cheating everyone!!

I have been using Airtel from more than 5 years now.

My company(LeewayHertz Corporation) was using Airtel Broadband Services with the unlimited plan, we used this from last 3 years and the average bill was 2200/- per month this is when we received a call from Airtel for change of plan telling fake benefits and promising about no extra charges, no extra bills amount and not communicating the entire plan properly, after which our Airtel bill came Rs.30000/- in a month, we were shocked. However we changed the plan back immediately after receiving the bill... and after registering numerous complaints with Airtel (complaint no: Reference no : 6306642 and 6954480), After so many calls, very lenthy discussions we finally received a call from Mr. Hans (airtel) Ph: 45532760/ asking us to pay Rs.7500/- against our charges of Rs.30000/- as all settlement of previous bills, we agreed to pay the same (Airtel Payment done Rs. 7500/- SBI cheque no : 587985, collected by Mr. Ravi ) and Mr. Hans promised us to give us the waiver letter as per our discussion after the clearance of the cheque.

It has crossed more than a month now and we still have not received the letter instead they have disconnected the connection and when asked they are now asking us to pay Rs.5000/- more.Why do we pay more?

Mobile connection down since 9 AM
Thanks to Airtel I have one of the worst days. The mobile network is down since 9 AM and company is unable to provide timelines by which it would be restored. Since the network is down in an important city like Mumbai the company should have courtesy to update info about it on its website.

On 2nd thoughts if I delay my payment by a day then I am supposed to pay "Late fee", I would be keen to know what should be the penalty on Bharti Airtel. Business worth cores of rupees would have suffered coz of this. I think they need to waive one months bill for each of their customers.

It also presents an opportunity to their competitors to get their customers.

Airtel cheated me
My name is RAMESH and my mobile no is 9967443905. I was using this card for more then two years I would like to mention that it’s a life time validity card. From last 20 days I didn’t use this card. Because I was out of station. Whether I used my card or not it’s my choice because its life time validity card. so when after 20 days I used this card it says sim card registration failed when I contacted airtel relation ship center they told me that your card is install and given to some one else. When I contacted nodal officer he is telling due to address verification we have disconnected your sim card. I don’t understand where they where for two years when I was using this card. The main thing is that my card contains a balance amount of 6730.80 so when I asked what about balance they told me it’s gone now. Airtel had cheated me and they had taken such a big amount from me because whenever the card disconnect it’s not given to some else up to 6o days. Ok if they had disconnected after that they should give sometime but they had immediately given to someone else just because they know that this card has balance 6730. If they want they can check the data base and help me but they don’t want to do this. I think sunil mittal is becoming rich day by day by cheating like this only. Plz help if you can. Fraud Company
Airtel Service is the worst and their Customer Service is worst than it. I would never advise to avail Airtel Service to anyone.

I recharged for Rs. 999 (LifeTime) on Sept. 2006. That time Airtel wasn't offering any scheme for lifetime other than 999.

It worked for one year fine but now when they offered STD 1/- @Rs. 71 Per Month. Which I wanted to recharge, unfortunately, when I tried I got an message indicating The Recharge Was Unsuccessful with Transanction ID 989746722. I called them and they really intended to help me and assure that this will it will fixed in 24 Hrs.

Now when more than week spent I called them about the status and informed that My Acocunt is recharged with Installmentwise Recharge of Rs. 499. When I asked them to check the history they said they do not have history before of Jan. 2008.

I am surprised the way they are handling the people. Really shame AIRTEL, atlest either improve your Customer Care or the way you maintain orelse you won't be able to survive.

Activates the scheme without permission
I am customer of Bharati-AirTel and for past few months i am facing problem for automatic activation on prepaid schemes without my permission. When i ask customer care executive they escape by saying that i may have recieved a promo calls and had activated the scheme. I told them that i had recieved a call and i strictly said no to them and i never talk much which this promo calls caller. later on i deactivated one scheme by loosing my money on activation charge.. few days back again my balance was deducted from my account, Then i called up on one of the customer care executive named as "Jitesh Patel" (Ahmedabad) and i asked to stop the service and give me a refund. that guy gave me refund but did not stopped the scheme, so on the next day it again activated , i again called to them and talked with another guy "Javed Intikari" he told that i have registered the complaint and assured that my amount will be refunded within 24 hrs, nothing happened, i again called a customer care and he also gave me surity of refund after more 24 hr, but nothing happened again, i agained called customer care and talked with lady "Nilofer" she took my all details and then told me that i m responsible for activation and deactivation of the scheme and argued with me and strickly told that i will not get refund. then i asked her to let me talk with the higher authority she forwarded the call after a long wait to a person "Madan" who seems to call himself a supervisor but i think he was also simple customer care executive and he also gave me the same reply and argued a lot .. I am fedup of such service from airtel. i must say that this is not way to do business ,, its a mere cheating the customer and also customer dont have any other option except calling to customer care..

Money making attitude
Dear Sir,

With reference to above subject, We already two days back complaint given for Intrex problem in our company. Our company name was SJR I PARK, PLOT 13,14,15 , Whitefield, Opp. Sathya sai bab Hospital, Bangalore. But nobody taken action at all. We are facing lot of problems with you landline phones. Before intrex facility is working but now it is not working. Means last no: 4 digits dialing facility. We trying to contact Airtel customer care & contacted Mr Sushrut Account Manager, he is not responding at all. Really I am telling sir really 100% poor services you are giving. At the time of new connections your peoples are requesting so much after finishing your work , after that no response for complaints. We are really fed up with your connections. Where we can go for complaint & solutions tell me sir. Without intercom facility we are facing lot of problems . So much of loss for us. Concerns persons when we call them , they are not picking up the mobiles also. In this we should understand that Airtel Services very very poor & negligence. Please give me the solution to solve intrex problem.

Please take necessary actions at the earliest.

Billing
I have been using airtel for threee years now.I had prepaid connection for two and a half years and now that i have taken the post paid connection its so mess.I don't get my paper bills on time.I tried to change the billing address, that was done after sometime, but the address updated was wrong.Despite my repetative calls to the customer service, i fell i am not valued.I tried to log a complaint online in Airtel site and the damn thing is so confusing, add the bill date, call date and the nubmer called...and how am i supposed to get that when i dont have the bill with me.Its so irritating to complaint over the telephone over and over again, specially when it lands on deaf ears.I am facing issues one after the other from the time i have taken this new post paid connection and dont really know how to get over it, probably switching over to another vendor.
Its not that I blame Airtel but then they should me more approachable to the customers.When we pay for the services we want the services to be provided on time.
