BIDFUN is an online auction site registered with a UK company called NAXOPRESENCE UK Ltd. This company was first registered in April 2009. This site auctions big name products such as Apple, Sony, Nintendo, and Toshiba to name a few, to lure people into joining. This site is akin to a slot machine where you put your money in and hope like hell you win something.
Here's how it works. You create a FREE account and then if you want to bid you have to buy credits. The minimum amount of credits you must purchase is NZ$20. Each credit is worth NZ$1. These credits are non-refundable and are on a "USE" or "LOSE" basis.
Each time you bid, it costs you 1 credit ($1). Each bid placed, increases the price of the item by 2 cents. Let's use an example:
iPod Nano 6G Multi-Touch 16 GB
Bidding starts at 0.02c - punters start bidding and push the price up to $51.32.
danny03 is declared the winner.
danny03 pays $51.32 + the cost for the number of bids he has used. Say for example, 200 bids/credits = $200
In total it will cost danny03 $251.32
But wait - BIDFUN just made $2819.32 on an item that is worth about $350 retail.
No crime here though - everyone in business is there to make a profit even if it is morally obscene!
BUT here is the dark side. Every BIDFUN site around the world i.e., bidfun.uk, bidfun.us, bidfun.nz, bidfun.au, etc are all auctioning the EXACT same product at the EXACT same time around the world, the only difference is the price (reflects each country's currency) and time differences.
Interestingly - the same PEOPLE are bidding simultaneously around the world for the SAME items!!! Check it out for yourselves. Log on to all of their sites at the same time and see whose bidding!!!
“SCAM” or “NO SCAM”? You be the judge.
