Fraud! Paid for items that never shipped
This company is a fraud. I have spent hundreds of dollars on bid packs and won lots of auctions...THE ITEMS NEVER SHIP!!
It has been almost three months and I still have not received ONE ITEM!!! They do not respond to emails and forget about calling their customer service line. It is a call center in Alabama with less than intelligent customer service reps that give you no information. However they will send you a refund for the 25 cents that you won the item for...but forget about the hundreds of dollars that you spend buying the bid packs. Please learn from all of our mistakes this site is fraudulent and I cannot believe it is still up and people are still bidding after all these complaints! And I apologize for your awful experience if you happen to call in and have to speak to Joanna- OY! What a gem!

fraud and false charges to credit card
Bidrack.com fraud and false charges to credit card
I, like everyone here was robbed in broad daylight by this less than honest, dreadful company Bidrack Sure I was stupid enough to believe that any place could sell ipads or iphones cheaper than dirt but I let my curiosity get to me. I think I am a savvy shopper and wise to the many tricks used these days. Flog the goods in any way possible, to hell with business ethics of any kind. I was on the alert I thought, looking for the catches to the too good to be true sayings. I did the first step where you supply your name and email because I have seen that type of registration for membership sites before. They confirm that you are using a valid email account by sending message out to it to be then sent back by you to confirm. No big deal. That procedure didn’t happen with Bidrack though, but just led to a second page to fill in more details. Being stupid for just a few moments I did fill in all that including my credit card only because I thought this was like ebay proceedures. I stopped at that point and took a second look at the whole page to see if there was a catch that I had missed, sure enough I did see in a small box to the lower left that there were bid pack purchases to choose from but I could not change from the default showing at all, and I did not want to buy bid packages at all at this point before observing the auctions. Already I had a bad feeling that if this website was playing games and not to be trusted. It they are like this with the prospective customer, what kind of games will they play with them after they get their hands on the credit card number. I decided to cut n run while I still could and erased all filled in data on that form name address phone and for sure my credit card number leaving nothing but a blank form I thought. I did not press continue or confirmation button but simply wanted to leave that site. I found the only escape was to close my browser. Imagine my disbelief when I received an email notification from Bidrack within a minute of reopening my browser that I had just purchased that very same defaulted bid package. That was over two weeks ago that I received that fraudulent charge notice and Bidrack still refuses to refund my money, refusing to assume responsibility for their own glitches and system failures. I am not interested by any offer of more worthless bids because I have no plans to ever use this site or the bids that they claim I have already purchased. Bullshit! I want my money put back in my account and nothing less!

SCAM Auction Site
COPIED FROM BID RACKS WEBSITE

This is "HOW IT WORKS"
1) Register to create your account.
2) Buy a Bid Pack to Rack up More Bids.
3) Find the Auctions you want to bid on & start bidding
4) If you are the last bidder when the clocks hits 0:00 you WIN!

I saw an webpage supposedly from Channel 9 News that was talking about this "New" bid site that was AWESOME! It went on and on about all the GREAT DEALS you could get and if I were to sign up through their site I would be given X amount of bids.. (I can't remember exactly) Anyway I followed their link and I registered. I then went on into their auctions and thought I better bid on some of their "BID RACKS" . I won 3. I thought it was awesome, I got them for only pennies! Well...

Thank goodness, I have an Ebay store and have an account with Paypal and had paid with that debit card. Because, it wasn't until I went back to by emails, that I discovered that they had "attempted" to charge my card $99 and because I had just transferred money into another account, it failed. But the next email said they had successfully charged my card $49. Both emails were from Paypal by the way, they always send emails of my transactions. If I hadn't been sent those emails I don't know how long it would have taken for me to know. There was never anykind of confermation or email that stated I had purchased anything other then the 3 auctions that were won for pennies.
Immediately I called Bidrack on their 800#. No answer. I left a message demanding a call back. Then I sent them an email, again demanding a refund and stating the fact they NEVER had my permission to charge my card.
I received an email back, " I'm sorry your upset. When you entered your credit card information you automatically agreed to purchasing our 175 bid packages!"

I responded rather strongly... I am sure you can imagine. Then picked up the phone and called Paypal and explained what happened. They have fronted the money back into my account. We canceled that card so they couldn't make any more unauthorized debits and Now we are waiting. They finally did call me back, 5 DAYS LATER only to tell me that they had a strict NO-REFUND policy and refused to put my money back.
BIG mistake! I have now personally proclaimed WAR on these scammers and wont stop until they are SHUT DOWN along with any other un-scrupulous outfit out here in cyberspace that wants to ROB hard working innocent people of their $$$. I hope the rest of you keep fighting for the money you worked hard for and won't simply stop at telling your story on a complaint site! File a complaint with the attorney generals office and who ever else will help. Unless we do this these kinds of companies will continue to operate. They must be stopped!

Good luck and keep fighting!

PS. I also found out later, once I found that the "Channel 9 News" Report that I read that sent me to Bid Rack in the first place, Is totally Bogus! In the fine, fine print on the bottom of the page it states that these are "actors"... wow, did I feel like an idiot.. What a "Scam"! LET'S SHUT THEM DOWN!!!

Avoid this website at all costs
The ad offers a new Kindle for $21.95, but the link takes you to a bid option site. Registering with credit card info charges you $99 for registering which you only find out on your next credit card statement. Apparently they get away with this because the terms and conditions must somewhere state that you will be charged for registering, but you have to do a lot of reading to find this out. IT IS A SCAM.

Bait and Switch/scam
Bidrack.om baits people with the display of desirable items, i.e. ipods, ipads etc. at ridiculously low prices and invites you to bid too. the site has a large "Register for Free" area. I registered, I thought it was free and gave a credit card in case I won a bid. I did not see the displays that said they would you would need to purchase bids. Nor was the cost of registering your card prominent. If I had seen the cost for the bids and to register the card, I would not have registered the credit card. I checked my credit card account a couple of houfs after doing this and found a $99.00 charge pending. I immediately called Bidrack and explained the situation. they said to send an loo e-mail requesting the refund and that shw would send me one too. I did this and was told we don't make refunds (basically for any reason).

I finally looked at their website again tonite. I did not sign in, nor will I ever sign into that website again because I don't trust them. Tonite when I looked at their website, it looked different. The costs were more plainly displayed and couldn't be missed. I don't think I was so tired the first time I looked at iit that I would have missed the displays I saw tonight. It has an option on the website for the number of bids and costs to purchase so that you can bid. It selects one for you, but you can change it. I am sure this was not the case last week because I certainly would not have selected the $99.00 packlage. I would have selected the $27.00 package if I was going to pay anything at all.

$99 charge to credit card
I along with many many others have been charged $99. They are a scam and should have a class action lawsuit filed against them. If there is an attorney willing to take them on they'd get more than enough people that have been ripped off. I for one would join the suit. Beware beware they are after the quick ripoff. Here is a website for anyone that has been hit with their charge. www.ConsumerComplaintAgency.org It's obvious that with their responses to everyone that they do not care about their reputation but the quick $$.

Bait & Switch of Plans
I contacted customer service and complained that the bid package I was charged for was not the bid package I selected when signing up. The representative kept telling me that I chose the $99 / 175 bids + 2 spins. I kept insisting that I chose the $27 / 40 bid pack. Interestingly, she said I would have had to manually pick the $27 bid package on this signup page and I told her that I did. Why would she make the comment that I would have had to do that manually in order to get that option, unless she already knew that most people would NOT sign up for any package if they had the understanding that it was a free trial. And why would anyone intentionally chose the 2nd highest bid package not knowing how this auction site worked? Even more interesting is that fact that everyone on this complaint board has stated that they were charged $99. So, I went back into the site registering as a new signup (see attached pdf file) to see if it would default to the $99 bid package. I did this 3-4 different times and each time on the credit card input page it defaulted to the $60 bid package. Therefore, this leads me to believe that once an unsuspecting consumer enters their credit card information, they must have a program that automatically switches the bid pack and charges the $99 bid pack rate instead of the $60.

My credit card company told me if the credit card information is given freely, there is no recourse as far as reversing the charge. Therefore, I insisted to this company’s customer service that I chose the lowest bid package, which I did, and demanded and received a refund for the difference between the $99 bid pack & the $27 bid pack. I told them that I had pdf files screen prints of the registration and would fax it to them as proof. For those of you that were duped in freely entering your credit card info, I suggest requesting a refund stating that you only sign up for the $27 bid pack; at least you could get back $72 of the charge.

Fraud
I was sent an e-mail from a friend saying he got a good deal on a zilco(?) android for $19.95. I clicked on the website thinking it was what he recommended. Against my better judgment, I registered with the company. This involved giving out my credit card information. When I did this the company charged me $99. I tried to get a refund but they refused. This is a scam of the highest degree. Not only was my friend's e-mail hacked into but mine also...would like to see these people caught and jailed and tossed out of the internet. What I would like is my $99 back.
