Bidrack.com Reviews

Charged $99 without authorization
I registered for bidrack, bid on something, and was charged $99. The google search for bidrack states "No Gimmicks. No Hidden Fees. Ever." Also, if you watch the "how it works" video, you have to select which bid package you want before you are charged. However, that didn't happen. Apparently, if you just try to bid on something, that will pull a trigger whereby you will get zapped $99. That strikes me as both a gimmick and a hidden fee. Avoide them like the pague. Stupid me, I gave them my credit card number. They are cheats, and ripped me off. I suspect I wll need to contact my credit card to have the fees reversed.

Hidden charges.
When I first entered bidrack.com I saw nothing about the $99 for buying bids to bid on merchandise. They compare themselves to Ebay, but Ebay does not charge $99 to buy bids. Afetr I entered credit card information, it booted me out and would not let me back in. When I got back in finally, it popped up a guidlines for use, which did not work, and then allowed me to start bidding. Unaware of the $99 charge, I started bidding, which is useless because as soon as someone bids, it restarts a clock whicj tells me that an item could go for double what you pay in retail if someone continues to bid. All the while you are being charged for bidding on the site. When you win an item, they do not send it. Instead you get offered that amount in bid points instead. Please do not fall for this scam. Someone needs to file a class action lawsuit against these people. I am trying to work with my credit card company to get this reversed.

took 99.00 U.S, dollars without my say so
Site stated it was free to sign up, I didn't select to buy any bidding packages. Then I seen I had credits automatically added to my account. Worried I called their customer service line and found out that they (bidrack.com) had selected a 99.00 bidding package for me. Thats like walking into Walmart and just to walk in and view, That they force you to buy 99.00 worth of merchandise.. This is an OUTRAGE!! There has to be some kind of law they are breaking!!

Once you finish their so called step one, your credit card is automatically charged $99.00
There is no way to back out of the registration process, once you finish their so called step one, your credit card is automatically charged $99.00. When I phoned customer service to question why was I billed, they behaved more like bill collectors and talked to me pretty ugly. Thier only purpose is to let you know about the "no refund policy". please, please save your money, this is a scam!

Scam - Using BidBots
Maybe BidRack has quit charging credit cards without authorization as they were doing early in their scam and maybe they have quit cancelling winning bids as they have done frequently. Those are not as important to the business model as they now are using bidbots and they're not just driving the price up as some scams have used them, they make it impossible to win an item that has any real value. Oh, they'll let you win a cheap video game or a low-end watch but try to win a TV or iPhone or such and you will be outbid by one of the following bots :

lkagioos345
paulmccabe19
xjpride
firoj
eelcity
k8431
joseph270710
tcolema3

Just go there and watch any big item and see who the bidders are. You'll see lots of folks like yourself, but watch for the bots. They win every time. Spend all you want. You lose. If you look at any big ticket auction that is currently active, there will be a place to the right that says this item last sold for $xxx. Follow the link and I guarantee it will be one of the bots that won.

So now you don't have to worry about them shipping your iPhone 'cause you're not going to win one.

deception/ fraud use of my credit card
i thought i was just registering with them and i gave them my cc# in case i would win an auction, i thought i was allowing my self up to $75.00 to bid on an item and if i win an auction then they would charge my cc account the amount of my auction. So i put in 1 bid and did not get the item. But they had already charged my account the $75.00 and they offer no refunds. What a rip off this company is. The $75.00 they say is for a bid package i supposedly purchased. They refuse to return my money. But offered me 20 free bids and then i just need to pay them for the shipping. i told them i want my money back, and i was turning them in for consumer deception and fraud. here is what they gave me to do i can contact them @ [email protected] as well as close my account thru [email protected], they called me back from this cell phone #760-705-8888 out of california.

scam , hacking , cheating system
Bidrack.com is the scam, and cheating system. Everyone must stay out of this site now. They just creates the scam and cheating system to take a bidder money.
As the bidrack states: If the auction timer reaches 00:00:00 and no new bids are placed the person who placed the last bid wins the auction and can purchase the product at the final auction price. But when the timer reaches 00:00, it displays : GOING OUT 1 TIME, this message stays for about 2 second, and then another message: GOING OUT 2 TIME
it stays there for about 2-3 more second, and then the system hangs up, freezes and then re set the timer. The result: you can never win the aution and loose all your bids.

NO PRODUCTS FOR SAVE, JUST A SCAM:
I bought total $500 bids and did not win the aution. I tried to purchase the iPad2, and uses my $500 that I bougt for credit toward the purchase price item, instead of keep bidding, but you know what: when I ckick the BUY NOW BUTTON, the system takes me right back to the purchase bid again ( the frontpage ).

HACKED, CHEATER, NO CALL ANSWERES, HANG UP THE CUSTOMER PHONE CALL:
I called the bidrack customer support, I had to wait for around 30 min, someone there picked up the phone and keep saying: hello, hello... and then hung up.
They did like that again, again and again.
I emailed bidrack support, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO RESPONDS YET.

Authorized Charge of $99 for registration
This is an unacceptable business practice and it's deem to be a fraud that bidrack.com is conducting and charging $99 for registering without authorized. When I registered; a credit card info was requested; I thought ok it is for future purchases. It did not say anywhere that I bought the bid package of 175bids. I thought this was a free sign up. The registration page was misleading, making you beleive that you are finalizing your registration...and I never agreed to pay for any bid packages.

Many Issues w/ company - Fake Products, Identity Theft Potential
I have had hope for Bidrack since the beginning, and have gone though some pretty major issues with them, and still stuck by them, even spending quite a bit of money. However this authenticity guarantee is just another one of the things about this company that disappoints me, and is unrealistic. There is no way any company is going to contact BidRack about a product that is not even their product, but is a non-authentic knock-off of their product. Verbal confirmation from the Fendi boutique is what I received. I can also provide a list of how it is obvious these products are not authentic. The first and most obvious being when you look up the serial numbers they come up online as an asian manufacturer, no Fendi products are made in Asia. I also asked a staff member at Coach how they handle fake product and their policy is they will not get involved unless the product was purchased from one of their outlets. I also have an inquiry in with Louis Vuitton, and am pretty sure their answer will be the same. This policy is useless, as there is really no way to prove to Bidracks specifications that products are not authentic. ………

I cannot even count the hours I have spent dealing with the flaws of this company and trying to rectify problems with them. Because of this I want other people to know of my experiences and will be posting my experiences on consumer review websites.

I am also going to be contacting Visa, Mastercard and Buysafe regarding the incident below where I had access to other users accounts (see #2 below).

I have screenshots, emails and printouts of the website and my account to support these claims.

#1 I spent approx. $2300 in bids. This is not the problem. I was loving the site, and having a great time bidding, AND winning! I was devastated after waiting over 2 months when I received an email telling me I would not be getting the items I won!!! I had spent HOURS and HOURS playing and winning on this site. I did receive a refund of some of my money, and was given more bids to use. However, this did not do much to rectify that I was not going to receive the $6, 750 worth of merchandise I so called “won.” All in All even with the refunds I was out $4450 in items I won. This was just a horrible feeling. I was also very disappointed when I knew that some people were still receiving their items that I was told were not in stock, even though they had received a review. Even after all of this, I decided to give bidrack another shot….my second experience I did receive my products but 2 were not authentic – which now seems it will be impossible to prove to the satisfaction of bidrack. They are making hoops it is impossible to jump through. With losing the value of these 2 non-authentic bags, and the $1, 000 per item guarantee of authenticity, I am losing out on a value of $3, 185. With these 2 experiences the value of my time, product I did not receive, etc. would total about $7, 835 (and this is taking into account the refund I received.)

#2 This website it not secure. Please see the email I sent to bidrack….

“I found a MAJOR scary glitch on your website yesterday, that
I am sure that many people would consider a threat to their personal
information, and leaves room for easy identity theft. I was logged in
as my user: emilymoore80, when all of a sudden the username switched
to a different user, someone I have never heard of. I hadn't done
anything but refresh my browser. I was then completely logged into
that persons account, with access to their credit card information,
address, previous order, etc. This happened 3 times and I had access
to 3 different users profiles - when all I was doing was logging in
with my username/password and refreshing my screen. I am sending
screenshots to confirm what happened. Thank goodness this happened to
an honest person, and I am hoping it was not widespread. I did call
customer service yesterday, and they did not really even seem
concerned about this issue.”

I never received any sort of response on how they would be making their site more secure or anything, and when I called customer service and told them the lady simply said “that’s weird, ” and just seemed to want to get me off the phone.

With the above issues, I just feel that I have given this company enough chances. I also feel that other consumers, and also vendors, people placing their advertising and their merchant companies should know about these experiences.

I have attached some screen shots to this complaint, and have more.

At this point I am not looking for resolution, just want my experiences and complaints to be documented.

Shame on me for letting bidrack pull wool over my eyes more than once…
