I purchased a used vehicle from Big Daddy's Auto lot on Garland road in Dallas. I purchased a 1999 s80 Volvo on 10/16/2010 about 5 pm in the evening. The price was for $6995.00 plus 24% interest. I put $500 down. Before test driving the vehicle which I could not even do until I was approved I asked the sales person were there any problems with the car he (Jose) assured me and my friend that the only problem with the car was the passenger back left side window that was broken and some interor wear and tear. I finally test drove the car and it seemed to drive good. I left the lot and brought the car home and did not drive it on Sunday, but drove it on Monday to take my daughter to school and had no problems at that time. Then on Tues. 10/19 I went to take my daughter to school and the vehicle would not come out of park, nor would the center panel console turn on and the windows would not work. I contacted the dealership and told them the problem and they said that they could pick it up if it continued or I could bring it to them, but that if they had it at the shop they would have to keep it for a couple of days. I told them I would call them back if the problem presisted. I called them again early Thurs morning and told them that it has done it about 10 times and that they do need to fix the car since it was not even a week old when the problems started. They offered again to pick it up which they did on Friday 10/22/2010 in the morning and towed it to thier auto shop. I called back on the following Tues to see what had been done with the vehicle and they informed me that thye had not heard from the auto shop. Then when I called the next day they said that the auto shop found no problem but that I could keep it there until they find the problem or come pick it up and then when the problem occured again that I could bring back to them or they could pick it up for me and take it back to the auto shop. I informed them that if they were actually driving the car and stopped several places that it would happened to whoever was driving the car. I also informed them that I needed a vehicle to drive and that they have had the car longer than I have had the car. So on Sat 10/30/2010 I went to them around 1pm and asked for the manager(Gary) so that we could resolve the problem but they said that he was at an auction and that he should be back in later that afternoon . I called at least 5 times and they said that he has not answered any of thier calls. I called every hour today and they said that he has not asnwered any of thier calls. I explained to them that no manager would ignore the office calls for 2 days. I told them that I feel like I am getting the run around. They still have the car at the lot and they have my $500 dollars. They are avoiding my calls.

Before I went to them I checked the BBB and I thought they were alright because I could not find a report on them but when I got tricked and did find some inforamtion from other past clients that went through the same thing I went through. I have contacted an attorney but not sure if I am covered under the Lemon Law. I am also going to take a sign up there and walk back and forth with it in front of thier lot. I am a single mother and I need a dependable car all I want is my money back or either the way to resolve it but when I cant' a call back from the person that is making the decision then that is where there is a big problem.
