On August 12, 2010 I signed a contract with Bil-Ray to tear-out the bathtub and walls and after doing any necessary repairs (rotted wood replaced, or piping replaced, install a acrylic tub and wall system over wonderboard. For this I was charged $9781. I gave a $2781 down payment with the remainder to be financed upon completion of the project. After a month, Rob came to measure. On October 26, 2010, Rob called to arrange installation. Also, he took the financed completion money on that date.
Nov. 1 & 2 were supposed to be the days...Ripout on the 1st, Install on the 2nd. They never showed up Nov. 1. Nov 2 rip out was done. Nov 5 sub floor was replaced. Nov 11 Tub installed but Rob wanted the technicians to do it before the piping was done. I paid to have piping installed out of pocket. Nothing has been done since Nov 11 although both Rob and Nick lied to me repeatedly about when the leak in the shower diverter would be repaired and when the walls would be completed. I was told it would be completed on Nov 17, 18, 19, 26, 29, 30 and Dec. 1. I have contacted the NY Better Business Bureau. I am in the process of disputing payment with the finance company, as well as filing complaints with NYS Attorny General's office, BJ's Home Improvement (who subcontracted them), consumer affairs, etc. Today is December 6th and I have had no contact with anyone from Bil-Ray since November 30, 2010
