Gafco Properties, Bill Gaffney, Change Realty, Costar group...the name keeps changing...maybe someone has an anger problem??? or shall we call it a LEGAL problem, maybe a BAD BUSINESS problem.
Mr. Gaffney was my landlord for a short period of time. he was paid timely, and despite the harassment and negligence (as stated Oregon Law) resorted to creating a false/without cause Eviction. It was dismissed IMMEDIATELY but the story does not end here. He then, keeps the Security Deposit to "RE KEY the Entire Building, " (in writing-he put this in writing) and accused me of stealing and having hidden security cameras.
Now, what to address first? 1) Not a thief, so pretty funny. 2) Security Cameras in a residential building without notice is illegal. (there is a theme here) 3) there were no cameras... 4) Bill Gaffney has repeatedly lied during reference check. He will not give any information requested BUT-has stated complete fabrications of length of residence, amount of rent, terms of lease, fulfilled, timely payment, and immaculate property care.
