Nov. 12, 2008 Placed an order that was to be billed through Bill Me Later with the terms of 90 days same as cash, over Paypal.
Nov. 12, 2008 Later that night, I received a bill from Bill Me Later for immediate payment. Emailed Buy.com plenty of time and not getting a response.
I am unable to get in contact with BillMeLater via email because apparently their website says the last four digits of my social security number is wrong.
Nov. 13, 2008 Got in contact with Bill Me Later who said will contact Buy.com and have this corrected. Then received an email from Bill Me Later saying this is Buy.com's error and to contact them.
Tried to call to come in contact with them again but their phone system was down. Sent an email through the customer service web page on their web site but it bounced back. Tried several other email addressed listed on BBB website, they also bounced back.
Nov. 13, 2008 Received email from Buy.com saying the billing error is Bill Me Later's and to contact them.
Nov. 14, 2008 Appears my Buy.com account is not in the database anymore. I keep getting "We could not locate an account with that login information. Please try again, or create a Buy.com account." from the login screen.
Nov. 14, 2008 Since neither company will correct this error, filed this complaint.
Now that the order has gone through, Bill Me Later knows nothing about it and swears Buy.com is in error and Buy.com swears Bill Me Later has made some kind of error. I will not use either company again.
I had transactions that we're not suppose to be over drafted. they coasted me so much money.
Overdraft of -$112.94 USD and I’m a college student. My money is limited.
