Unauthorized express delivery!
I ordered the Samuri Knife/Scissors Sharpener in response to a television ad. When calling the toll free number, I was interacting with a pre-recorded ordering system. One of the topics was express delivery at an undetermined charge. There was no way for me to decline this part of the offer. Thinking that perhaps at the end of the pre-recorded ordering system, I may have a chance to talk with someone, I sat through approximately ten minutes of sales pitches for other items, for which I refused. At the end of all of this, I could only get a toll free number to call for which to address this (but only 48 hours later, at the earliest) . I placed my order on a Thursday, meaning that I cannot reach anyone at the so-called customer service center until Monday, by which time, I suspect my package will have already have been placed in the express mailing system. I expect, from common sense, that this express charge will be approximately $20 to $25 dollars. Not being able to reach a live person on Thursday or Friday, and now not being able to call until Monday, I fear that I have fallen into what I feel is their well planned trap to earn a few extra dollars for an item that may indeed work very well. I felt that $10 for the the item and $7.95 for regular shipping was reasonable for a product that I am confident is a quality product, otherwise I would have never ordered it. I'm frustrated and disappointed by that fact that this company is so well known, advertises so many other products, and I fear a fair number of people have fallen into the same scheme.
