I decided to buy Reserveratrol because it was investigated by no less a person than Barbara Walters. But once I started the purchasing process the hustle was on . Shortly after I purchased said product, I received a call from my credit card company telling me that I had been charged $49.95. When I called Bio Lab or more accurately their marketing dept., I was informed that even though Resveratrol had a 14 day trial period the wrinkle cream did not. That is why they had charged me. I told them that I had been informed that I had 14 days for both. I was informed that the only way to get my money back was to recieve the product and then return it to them. I would have to pay the shipping charges. Additionally, I was informed that they had no tracking number for the pkg. I told them that if their was no tracking number it had not been shipped. Further, if it had not been shipped they could cancel said shipment.Then the operator assured me that it had been shipped. When I asked when it had been shipped, they said it had been shipped a few minutes ago. I told them that they were lying, then I informed them that I had worked for a major shipping co. for ten years and was thouroughly familiar with tracking numbers. I told them that once the pkg was shipped the tracking number was almost instantaneously available. This is possible because it enters the system through a laser scan and download, not a data key entry.

All in all this experience has cured me from buying solicited goods off the internet.

There is one other key point that I think that the buying public should know about . while I was on hold waiting to speak with a supervisor, their phone system went berserk and started repeating OTHER PEOPLES CREDIT CARD NUMBERS to me. Fortunately for those other people, I am honest and was not interested in their credit card info. However, I was amazed that when told this info the operator and supervisor not only didn't say anything, but didn't even blink, metaphorically speaking. They just didn't care that their system had a major glitch and was compromising their customers confidential information.

I really hope that the product their selling isn't as deceptive and unethical as their business practices. I for one am appalled and angry at the callous treatment that I received. I am going to try and find a watch dog org. to report their potentially criminal negligent credit card practices to. I'm sure that giving random credit card numbers out over their phone system is something that Visa and all of the other big boys would really like to hear about.
