This is to inform you that Zosima Cabangbang, the hired helper you placed with us, request for a day-off last December 27 with a promise to be back by December 28. She was hired by us on December 9, and she was not able to come back. She texted us that she is encountering problems with her family but her obligation with us is first and foremost, to take care of an elderly. My aunt asked of her plans but she never replied, so I called your office and request for a replacement. Guess what? This Dess that answered the phone promptly told me that we should have informed the agency that we are going to give their helper a day off before the trial period of 21 days was over, and because we failed to do so forfeited us the right to the "consideration" period, which guarantee us of a replacement without paying an additional fee beyond the P3100 we paid upon signing of the contract, that was signed by Filamie Cabrillos, a member of your party.

It brings my blood to a boil. First and foremost, that clause cannot be found anywhere in the contract you have given me. It stated there that we can give the helper a 24-hour day off once a month, but it never mentioned that we cannot give her the day-off before the 21-day trial period is over. Personally, my helpers have their offs Saturday night until Monday morning, but the helper you gave me do not work directly for me, as i have informed you before hiring her. She was to work for my grandmother in Valenzuela.

What pisses me the most is when this Dess told me that I have to wait until January 20 to tackle my case because that is when you are going to resume the operation. When I asked her that to ask this Beth (who handles this kind of situation according to her) to at least call me, this Dess promptly told me that Beth will not call me no matter what before January 20 because she is not authorized to do so.

So, whoever is out there with authority over this matter kindly explain to me what this Dess is talking about. I intend to pursue my complaint, not because of Zosima's shortcomings but because of this Dess' attitude and lack of knowledge regarding the contract you had your clients signed. A contract, I was told by the one that brought Zosima to me, that was signed but will not be notarized.

May I also remind you that should you use the clause “No turnover, No replacement” to me, that clause falls under the agreement of the employee (who clearly not fulfill her part of the agreement) and employer (me) and not between me and BISOIR EMPLOYMENT SERVICES.
Another review
I learned about this service provider through sulit.com. I have a hard time looking for an old-sitter for my grandmother so I decided to try this agency who claimed to provide reliable housemaids. They charged me with P2, 100 placement fee and we signed a six month contract for the old-sitter whose monthly wage is P4, 000. It’s beyond my normal budget but since I desperately needed a companion for my grandmother who was left alone in her house during the day when her youngest daughter go to work, I agreed.
The contract stated that the helper and the employer has a 21 days trial period, and the employer can ask for replacement of the helper if he/she don’t find him/her reliable. I don’t have anything against the helper, except that on her 17th day, she asked permission to take two days off due to a family emergency. She didn’t come back as promised. It is true that my contract with Bisoir stated that I can give two 12-hour day off in a month, or one 24-hour day off. In my sympathy with the helper’s dilemma, I allowed her to take more than the contract requires me.
When I reported this to the agency, the woman who answered me was not only unaccommodating, but arrogant as well. She told me that it was my problem since I allowed the maid to take a day off without informing them. I’ve read the contract and there is no article written stating that I needed to ask for permission every time I allowed the maid to take her rest day. She also told me that if they replace the maid, I will be charged with 30% penalty based on the maid’s salary, amounting to P1, 200! I asked for the manager and she promptly told me that the manager was on vacation, and the manager will just confirm everything she just told me.
Since there is no reasoning with her, I reported the incident to the DTI (Department of Trade and Industry). I send them a link of the report to their sulit.com advertisement. Someone “with authority” from Bisoir Employment immediately called me and tried to settle the dispute. Since I already hired a helper from another agency, I no longer need the replacement she was offering me. She apologized and told me that If I want, she can put my account on hold and she will provide the replacement free of charge if ever I needed another helper.
I accepted her apology, until the day came when I needed a helper. I called their office and they promised me that they will call when a maid becomes available. It’s been three months now. I did not follow-up on their promise, but I did tell all my friends not to go to that agency even if their desperate for a nanny.

I hope to hear from you soon to settle this matter.
