Bittersweet Gluten Free Bakery Reviews

Awful products
I am a nice middle-aged female minister. Their customer service is the worst I have ever seen for a company, including even places in hardened New York City! And it is consistently bad! Do you know they don't even carry a few loaves of bread on hand--you have to pre-order bread! Every gluten free bakery in the area keeps bread on hand. They are always cold. I saw on one of our local review websites that someone named gopherfan said that he has never had a good experience going there. I'm not the only one. The final straw was in May when I went in to purchase some more products to try and my standby cornbread. I paid their exhorbitant prices for the goods ($4.00 for ONE muffin). They had free itty bitty bite-size samples of a new bread they created. I took one--it was so dry I actually started choking on it. I mumbled to the saleswoman--I'm choking, can I please have a glass of water. She said no!!! Desperate, my panicked mind thought to take another little piece to chew and get my saliva working double time (which did work). However, the guy baking in the back--young at about 20s or 30s--yelled--no less yelled! Take ONLY ONE PIECE! I couldn't even talk because I was choking. Then the woman said, well maybe I can get some water. And I said, It's working now, I'll be okay. I walked out feeling humiliated after just spending over $30 on a few baked goods and I was angry about the staff being ungrateful for a good paying customer and stingy about a piece of sample bread! This was the first time ever they've had any samples of anything when I've been in there. I e-mailed the owner about the problem that very day and never received a reply. Horrible customer service. Then I read a review of their lemon bar on a local site and that person couldn't believe how dry it was--even after trying it on two different occasions. Same with this sample bread--choked me.
About their products--I only have good luck with the cornbread mix. Their other products:
I have bought and tried their products several times since the day they opened. Each time I try something else hoping that this product will be better. But whether it's bread, muffins, cookies, sweetbreads, cakes, or whatever, their stuff gives me diarrhea or makes me sick. They keep the ingredients secret.
