Home Instead Senior Care continually recruits new employees, most of which they promise full time work. After being warned against the employer, I took the job that pays well under the national average for caregivers. After not working me for almost a month and a half, I filed for unemployment compensation. They appealed on the grounds that I am not available for all work hours. WHAT?! I have been always considered a model employee by my employers. Now my family has to suffer because they are over staffed. Funny thing is, they just hired on several new people... poor souls. They haven't called me in over a month and a half. Not my fault!!! I had to beg for my last paycheck! I can truly say that I was warned before I worked for these people. Now I may have to pay back what I have received so far. My children can go without food because this unethical and poor excuse for a business has deceived me. Thank you, Home Instead. I have alerted many of my friends in the healthcare business (most of which already knew you'd screw me) to consider moving for work before working for you. I can now say that I understand their frustrations now. I hope one day someone can find a way to shut down your scam.
