I hired Black Baer Seal to repair and seal my driveway. They came in July, 2007 and did the repair and seal. I paid them $455. The next day the rubber that they layed started to peal and I called Black Baer Seal to report this. He told me that other customers of his had reported the same thing and that he would call me back to schedule the repair.

Mr. Baer never called back! I repeatedly tried to get in touch with him but he would never return my calls. Thus, I reported him to the Better Business Bureau (complaint number 5923661). They got in touch with Mr. Baer and he told them that he would get back to me to schedule a repair. I tried to call Mr. Baer but his phone number had been disconnected.

This summer (2008) I found Mr. Baer's NEW new phone number. It is (434)327-2598. I called him and he told me that he meant to get back to me and that he would come to our home to finally repair our driveway. He did show up to remove the bad rubber that he applied last year and when he did this, he also removed a lot of the asphault from the original driveway so my driveway is now in worst shape than it ever has been! He told me two weeks ago that he would be over with asphault to repair the driveway and then he would lay the rubber and then do the sealing. He called me last week to tell me he would be over to finish the job. He called me back the next day and told me that his truck broke down and he doesn't know when he will get here now (which is the same thing he told me at the end of the previous driveway season). I asked him to give me a check for $455 (which is the amount I paid him last year) so that I could get another company to repair my driveway and he told me that he would mail the check to me. I have not received the check yet.
