In October 2007 we purchased a "Leather" sofa with 2 recliners and a reclining "Leather" chair.
Within 2 weeks of owning the furniture, 1 of the arms on the couch broke loose as I was getting up.
Both of the product emblems (Glued to the material) were slowly slipping down the side, leaving a streak of
glue which proceeded to attract cat hair. Very disapointed at this point. After a call to The Brick, they sent
a service man out to look at the furniture and they replaced the complete couch and cleaned the goo off of the chair.
In August of this year we noticed that the seams on the couch, at the back of the upper cushions, are seperating
(thread ripping right through the material). Once again I phoned The Brick. Technician came out and informed
us that the material at the back of the cushins is actually Vinyl! Well I thought I purchased a leather couch
and then we find out it's actually part Vinyl! I was lied to and they refuse to take the furniture back. They will
repair the seams but have to take the couch out of the house for aprox. 2 weeks. UNACCEPTABLE!
My 5 year blanket warranty, they tell me, doesn't cover seams!! What the f**k is a blanket warranty anyway.
They phoned me back and said that when I purchased it, the seams were covered... Bla Bla Bla!
Don't deal with The Brick. After all the horror stories I've heard, now I believe!!
