To whom it may concern:
I recently bought furniture from Ashley’s Furniture. First I would like to say I am complete disappointed in the quality of service I received as well as the work that was done as they moved my furniture in. It is sad to say that I had to have the furniture repaired as soon as they moved it in due to the negligence of your worker, scraping it against the wall as they moved it in.
You scheduled someone to come out and repair it and the repair guy told me he was repairing vinyl. I was told by the salesman that the sofa was all leather, which it is not. I got online and found this on your website, which stated what it is:
Leather Match upholstery features Split Grain leather in the seating areas with skillfully matched vinyl everywhere else. Leather Match sofa in Martini leather, featuring a classic pebble grain pattern with a clean uniform surface. Clean contemporary styling and a plush cushion design is sure to add beauty and comfort to any home. This collection features Bycast leather which has the characteristics of natural leather with the benefit of added protection from a polyurethane coating process. Martini is a Protected Leather and is perfect for active households (Cleaning Code E).
Why do you not train your employs to tell the truth? We asked before we purchased if it was leather, we even stated “ALL LEATHER?” The gentleman said that it was. That is false advertisement and I was misled. I tried to contact your company and they told me to contact the store. I had to go to the store after several calls that went unanswered or returned to me by management to try to get the issue resolved. I was told that I would be refunded because I was misled and it would be done within 24hrs by Ashley’s for the incorrect information. It has been four months already and no such refund have been added to my account and no one has returned my calls or when I go to the store a manager is not available. I had also returned the loveseat that I had due to lack of room in my living space and now they say they can’t locate the pick, which was done the same day as the repair. Ashley’s still has it on my account as they say they have not received it. I have yet to hear from them as to the damages done to my apartment as well. Damage was done to my walls and carpet that I had to pay for myself to my apartment when I moved out.
I have had so many problems with Ashley Furniture that I would not recommend them to anybody. Customer service was poor, management was poor, and just all around customer satisfaction is unserved. I have tried to call headquarters who tells me that each store is individually owner and operated, but it is your furniture they are selling.
