Whether I like it or not, the sound level of the Blendtec HP3A Blender, the Total Blender, EZ Blender, Connoisseur, etc... is between 95 dB to 102 dB. Some of the commercial Blendtec blenders such as the Blendtec Smoother, ABC, Q-Series, etc... come with the option of a sound enclosure. But the Connoisseur, the EZ blender, the HP3A, Champ or the Total Blender are not available with sound enclosure.

We, 123Vita, LLC on www.3blenders.com have developed a sound enclosure in competition with those $ 200+ sound enclosures out there on the market. Our's is only $69 to $79 plus shipping. Guess what? Blendtec wants to sue us.

Blendtec makes fine blenders. They are powerful unlike many others. You can purchase for example a 3 hp Blendtec HP3A blender already starting at $ 350 or with sound enclosure for $ 399.95. These are incredible prices compared to the Vita Mix blenders. Even, the latest gimmick infomercial, the Health Master blender that Montel Williams gives his name too, costs with all 3 year warranty features, upgraded 1200 watt power supply, and expedited shipping about $ 300.

And that Health Master is made in china, very poorly. If you compared the blender finishing quality (see www.3blenders.com to compare) with the Vita Mix 4500, you will find true differences.

But why would you buy the Vita Mix 2 hp 4500 TurboBlend Blender for $ 330 if you can get a powerful 3 hp blender, the Blendtec HP3A for $ 350? So, there is no complaint. It just bothers us a lot, that we come up with a great product to dampen the blender noise level from 95 dB to 65 dB and Blendtec calls rudely and threatens to sue us if we didn't stop selling the sound enclosures.

Again, although Blendtec does not want anyone call their blenders noisy, they are noisy. There is no way to make a powerful blender less noisier. A powerful car for an engine has a better muffler. The sound enclosure is like a muffler that reduces or dampens the noise level by 30 to 35%.
