First Tom Dickson, CEO of Blendtec has been selling hundreds of thousands of 5-sided Blendtec containers with a 4inch blade for years, professing you need to have the 20 AMP ICB7 blender motor to operate it.

Apparently a slight invisible unrecognizable change to the blade has made it possible according to Tom Dickson interview with me last year 2009 Day after Thanksgiving, to run the 5-sided 96oz container with 4 inch blade now on any of the Blendtec household blenders such as the Total Blender and HP3A.

Tests resulted in the knowledge the the container is however not 96oz in size but it is actually only 76 oz in size (what you can fill in until the liquid reaches the lid). This is a clear miss-representation and false advertising. Blendtec got away with it for years. And now after we at www.3blenders.com have shown a video demonstrating the size difference, Blendtec has announced that it is calling its 5-sided container the "WILDSIDE" container, trying to evade liability. The name has already been changed on the blendtec website. But thousands of articles, advertising, and websites are still calling it the 96oz jar.

In order to make repair, Blendtec must be forced to refund the purchase price for all those containers sold under the false name and under false advertising. It is a good effort that Blendtec changed the name, but Blendtec must also repair the damage caused to consumers and businesses who bought the 96oz (WILDSIDE) jar under the assumption that it is much bigger.
