My Name is Mr. Nisarg Devatiya I had applied for the admission in Diploma in Hotel Management at Bloomsbury Business School London, after my application was accepted, I was told to pay study deposit which was 2000 pounds sterling which is part payment of tuition fees..
I had applied for the visa at Mumbai embassy but the application was refused due to my fund is not been 28 days old. I decided to reply but high commission due to my fund is not been 28 days old this is really surprising refusal from the high commission because at this stage my bank passbook show as well as the balance certificate show that fund is old since 2 month and there is normal transaction is there during those days but they refused never mind because they are final authority.
Now the problem starts now on.
I’ve sent my refusal copy along with original visa letter to college asking for my refund. But still College has not refund since 3 month and also there is no reply from the college. I’ve been in touch with their local agent (now they don’t represent the BBS) and they are trying to help me with great support. The agent told us to write to UKBA and to you to solve this issue as I know the money is with college and college is responsible to pay back the tuition fees because I refused for the visa.
I’ve been spoken one of Entry Clearance officer at Mumbai outlining the problem I have. He told me that college can not keep your money whatsoever reason of refusal student may have. College must pay back course fees as student has been refused.
No British school, college and university has a legal right to refuse to refund advance school fees paid if you were unable to start the course.
Please try to help me with this matter because I coming from middle class family this amount is very big amount for me and this amount is saved from since long by my father for my higher education also due to that I am not been able to join any college in India. Please help me I have lots of hop with you……..
