did receive the item
I order item back in November 08. The company told I need to send 10.03 money I did that. I still have not recieved my item yet. I been calling and calling. They keep tell they have to enter the money in the computer. It's been since Nov 15, 2008. I call today on Feb. 6 th to ask about it. The customer rep. hang up the phone on me. I just want them to give me my money back.

No computer
I have been given the run around and treated badly. I was told not to miss a PAYMENT. I did not. I couldn't communicate over email, so I called customer service. 3 calls, 2.5 hours on hold. I was told FINALLY that all was well and my computer would be shipped and that I would recieve it in about 3 weeks. It's been 8 weeks now! Another call to Blue Hippo customer service, another45 minute wait and I am delt with rudely by someone that I can barely undersand who tells me that he has no idea where my computer is. He has no order number or phone number where I can check on it. That's all! . . . I've been paying 34 dollars a week for 5 dang months! Have I just been ripped off by some evil scam? I've noticed that they aren't on TV anymore.

Account paid out,no computer
I opened an account with Blue Hippo for a computer and also to attempt to better my credit.As of November 2007 my account has been paid out fully, but I have not received my merchandise and can not get any information as to when I can expect to get my computer. I feel that not only was I scammed by Blue Hippo I also feel scammed by every television network, Radio station that ran their ad. I know now that every company should be checked out before sending them my hard earned money.I hope that someone would read my complaint and understand that help is needed by myself and others . Please HELP!

Awful company
I purchased computer from a company called Blue Hippo that say they help people like myself with little or no credit however the computer needs to be paid in full and all the required paperwork needs to be completed and sent to Blue Hippo before they ship it so they said. Not only have done all of that but I have called them many times. I have been put on hold for as long as 45 minutes only to be hung up on. Every time I call they tell me to wait another three weeks. They will not transfer me to a department manager or someone who will give me an answer or tell me why they have not shipped my computer I went online into Blue hippo rip off reports and I was amazed at how many people they have done this to. They also have cases pending court against them. I do not understand how they can continue to be allowed to advertising online or to be open for business after defrauding so many people. This cant be legal.

Bad service
I have done everything I can to get these people to follow their program as contracted. I started in July 2006, paid off in Aug 2007. I received everything but my printer and rebate. Every time I call they tell me the same thing, which has now brought me to date.

I plan to do a small claims against them, however they don't seem concerned, because they have not returned any of my calls or e-mails. I will start with a registered letter and see if I get any where.

What I don't understand is how these people stay in business with so many complaints, and more, that they are allowed to stay in business. Until everyone is paid back one way or another, they should be fined for each one.

Unauthorized billing
I order a computer and followed all the necessary steps, when the computer was to be shipped, they told me repeatedly that the computer was coming from Dell and I would have to wait they deferred payment for a month and continue to take payment with no idea as to when it would ship, at that point I had to close my checking account to stop them from taking my money. They refused to give me my money back which was almost a $1000.00. They then offered me a store credit, which I purchased a laptop with from them, they refused to take the shipping cost from the store credit and insisted that I sent a postal money order for the cost which I did and sent priority mail. Now, they are saying they have not received the payment. I still do not have the computer and they have $1070.00 now, of my money. When you call on the phone to customer service which is separate from the regular number they are nasty and irate basically they say you get it when you get it or not.

Unauthorized charges
I placed an order with Blue Hippo on Saturday, November 15 with my bank account to be debited for the initial payment on Monday, November 24. I called to cancel my order on Friday, November 21 which is within the 7 day cancellation window. But, after reading several reports on this company, I found that I should call my bank to stop payment on this transaction believing that they might still debit the account.

My bank needs specific information from the company in order to stop the debit. Is there anyone that could provide me information from a debit that was made to their account so that I could ensure that this company does not have the ability to debit my account today or in the future as well. I would certainly appreciated this information.

Scam
I have paid Blue Hippo in full for my computer I paid them 2, 099.00. My last payment was 9-19-2008 and today is 12-29-2008 and They havent sent me anything Not even my computer. They keep telling me its in shipping process you will be called wait another 4/6 weeks. Blue Hippo is clearly a scam. If anyone has any idea on how I can go about retrieving my computer or my money please feel free to contact me at [email protected].

Fraud and scam
I needed a lap-top for work but we have bad credit. My wife suggested going through Blue Hippo. I knew it would cost more but I had to have a lap-top for my job. They were quick to take our money then the trouble started. First they said we would have it in 9 weeks, 9 weeks came and went. After waiting on hold for up to 30 minutes my wife talk to Sammy, a company rep. and he said there was a misunderstanding, that it would be shipped out after 9 payments.

9 payments came and went. NO laptop. My wife was on the phone with them at least 3 times a week. Always waiting, on hold, 20 to 45 minutes to talk to a rep.

Every rep. gave her somekind of excuse. The latest is that the company they get the laptop from was having shipping problems. Their add said it would be a Dell laptop but Dell could not discuss this issue with me.

15 payments later still no laptop. We turned everything over to our bank so now Blue Hippo can't take anymore money from our account. And the bank is going to investigate for fraud!!!

Scam and cheating
They claim that after 13 weeks of payment, you will receive your computer, well, I have been paying on my computer since March 2008 and have not received anything and they are still taking payments out of my account. I thought the FTC had them under investigation and making sure that they were compliant? What's the deal?
