Devastation of property and filling in stream!
About a year and a half ago, Blue Ridge electric, a utility supplier did enter our property, by a private drive marked no trespass and did mow across a field and up and down the hill that was above our stream. They had unsupervised immigrant workers doing their work. After They managed to cut all low growing dogwood trees (this is permitted and encouraged for erosion and environmental purpose). The immigrants threw the limbs in the branch and ground the shrubs around the stream into mulch that filled the stream and stopped the flow of water that went under the small road that led to our half acre fish pond. They mowed my grape vines, berry bushes, flowers and any thing else even across the stream. I have reported them to the BBB but they refuse to put them on the unresolved list of complaints because I didn't pay for mediation through them, mind you I have e mailed the BBB bureau numerous times and Blue Ridge Electric admits fault, but they are not qualified to do the work it would take to correct this problem. My husband has Alzheimer and I also am disabled, We own a small mini farm we turned into a nature habitat, They have killed the fish and caused great distress on wild life that relies on this. I asked for a small amount of money and even offered to get an estimate of damages and they still refused. Our income is limited and I'm tired of the BBB bureau not reporting such behavior .They had an ease meant to clear the right of way but it is a felony in South Carolina to stop water from flowing that sustains any animal life. Our fish are dead, We are one of the last habitats that have, deer, rabbits, raccoons, wild hogs and just about any birds including locally released falcons. Our land looks like loggers came in and ravaged it. All our bird boxes are gone.I don't know who else to turn to since this corporation has such a hold on this area. No one should be above the law and they should have to pay to repair this damage if for no other reason for animal preservation. Please Email Blue Ridge Electric In Pickens, south carolina and ask them to fix their mess so the animals can enjoy their life too. Thank you for listening to me any suggestions will be helpful.
