Cancellation

I was insured through my job, Pharma Pac and was terminated on March 1st, 2011. I have been undergoing treatments and testing for a ruptured disc in my neck. I had a nerve test appointment today and when I went in, I had the receptionist call my insurance company, only to find out that the owner of Pharma Pac (Norma Jean Urenius) had canceled my insurance completely on March 1st, 2011. I was paid for the pay period of February 16, 2011 to February 28th, 2011, with the full amount of medical taken out to pay for my insurance policy. I had heard that legally, I should have thirty days to renew the policy.

They denied treatment after surgery

Hi, I injured my shoulder and my doc sent me to physical therapy. When this

didn't help, I ended up having surgery. I ended up having bone spurs, arthritis and pinched nerves. I was sent back to physical therapy after surgery.

My insurance only allowed 2 visits and then denied me. They said that I was only allowed 12 visits for the year and had used them up. Physical therapy and my orthopedic requested an appeal on my behalf and I was still turned down.

I believe that under the circumstances, I should of been allowed more visits. To this day my shoulder has limited movement and I still have pain when I try and move it a certain way. I believe that my medical insurance was negligent.
