Received a call from a rep from this company stating that they had a buyer for my timeshare. That they had an offer from the purchaser and could close within two weeks.. They stated that all I needed to so was fill out the contract and send them $1, 800 for closing fee's and title work ect, ect, ect... They stated that there client will reimburse me the $1, 800 at the closing.. When I received there "contract" it was not a contract to sell my timeshare, but a contract to list my property with them at a fee of $1, 800... It didn't say anything in the regards to them having a buyer or anything in regards to a closing.. When I called them back they stated that they couldn't put that in the contract because the buyer has put a down payment down but has not secured the entire funds. After thinking about it for about 1/2 a second it didn't make sense. They stated that a large bank (top 3) wanted to purchase it for there employee's bonus. How can a bank worth billions not be able to secure a $20k timeshare?? (bailout plan i suppose). So my girlfriend decided to investigate a little more into this company.. First "were there located" is either an empty parking lot or a strip club (thanks to google maps was able to see the location). Second was able to look up there phone number listed to a cell phone company. Third they are not listed in the yellow pages in Nevada.. Ok you might think but then I called the Attorney General in Nevada they had not heard of them.. So I looked up to see if they were licensed brokers or realtor's in Nevada and they didn't have there company or the agent that called me listed.. Looked them up on BBB nothing came back. Kind of seems like a ghost company.. Someone would think with so many scams that are so easy to fall into that some kind of government agency would be on top of this. So be careful when dealing with BLUESPACE TIMESHARE'S. Get something in writing from them that state what they are saying on the phone or maybe a Good Faith Estimate (which they refused to give me).
