Stephanie Orr is a breeder of Ragdoll cats in Bellevue, Nebraska, named Blueyed Babyz. I purchased a beautiful kitten from her on August 2, 2010. The kitten was shipped on an airplane to California. When kitty arrived at the Airport, she was soaking wet, as Stephanie had put ice in her carrier which was totally melted, she said it had started melting when she dropped her off in NE! The poor kitten had a horrible cough. I contacted Stephanie and told her that I had picked up the kitty, and she was coughing a lot. She told me she had a cough from the spay surgery tube being down her throat a week before. She later said she contacted her vet, and the vet said kitty's cough should have been gone by then. She should never have put kitty on the plane knowing she was still coughing. I brought her to my vet the next day, who said she had a URI, and put her on Clavamox and Viralys. I asked Stephanie if she would please help pay for the almost $300.00 vet bill that kitty had incurred in 2 days with me, or if I should send kitty back to her. She said she would not refund or reimburse any of my money, and that I could send kitty back. I felt that kitty was too sick to fly again, just as she was on Aug. 2, when she was flown to me. Then I'd be out $1030.00 + $285.00 in vet bills, and no kitty. I have 2 other cats who the vet said should not come near kitty for 2 weeks. Now kitty is a latent carrier of cat flu for the rest of her life, and could infect my other cats. Do NOT buy cats from Stephanie Orr. You may get a very sick kitty, that will cost you $$$$ for it's entire life.
