FHA HAMP
The FHA HAMP program is NOT designed to help individuals who supposedly qualify for it. I was declined for the program initially because I was said to be "current" on my mortgage and to qualify you would have to be 60 days delinquent. Since, I fix the 31% pre-qualifying process, I was told by NACA per the Servicer(BOA) to skip my July and August payment then start paying my trial payment in September for 3 consecutive months on the 1st day of every month. In November, I was notified per my call to BOA that I was declined on all accounts for any program. The attempted to get me qualified for FHA HAMP, Forebearance, etc. Now, my loan has been returned to normal status and I have to pay an astronomical amount including late charges. Although I was paying my mortgage based on the amount I was told to pay, the system still registered me as being late each month. In addition, after speaking to Tyson, a Manager in BOA Loan Retention Department, he stated in did not matter if I had been paying on time or not because I requested for help there are codes in the system that would have put my payment in a partial account until I completed the Loan Modificiation Program. Now, I am having to do a hardship on my 401k, argue and fight for my rights as a citizen who was told incorrect information and mislead into demanding mycredit. By the way, I had never missed a payment or been late during my entire life cycle of having my BOA loan. I was skeptical of the program because you have to go through the underwriting process which requires you to skip 2 payment, just as if you were purchasing your home again. But instead, you are mislead to think your mortgage is being restructured so you can get an affordable payment according to your debit to income. Save yourself and do not even waste your time because the FHA HAMP does not provide any assistances. IT WILLL DESTROY you credit if you have good credit! Hopefully, a Class Action lawsuit forms from all of this scamming. We need justice and we need justice now. Somebody is profiting from misleading hard working American that they can get assistance to lower their mortgage, but I am not sure who all is profiting.
