BOA/FIA Cards services uses various vendors to provide credit card customer service to BOA/FIA card holders. The major problem with this is that the people that they employ can literally walk in off the street one day, apply and be hired at one of these call centers and have full and complete access to all your personal and private information. No background check is required and neither is drug screening. The majority of these people who work in these call centers have extensive involvement in th criminal justice system and many are currently recovering or active drug addicts. There is an unusual occurence of 'third party compromises', that directly stem from the fact that the people that are managing your credit cards are stealing and using your information. This is something that has been going on quite awhile and nothing is being done about it. One can't even get the name of the merchant that the information was compromised at. This circle of identity theft/fraud is a broad and systematic abuse and will continue until consumers demand more from there financial institutions. When people have access to your ssn, dob, mmn, address, phone number, email address and checking and savings accounts you should at least know if they have a criminal history or are presently involved in illegal activity. Especially if it is at your cost.
