In April, 2009 I placed order #106641 and Boatfix charged my Amex with $242.39
They never delivered.
I requested refund, numerous mails with Mike, no refund.
No money and no answers, no phone number.

Fraud
Ordered boat stands via web on 9/10/09. Credit card was charged when order paced. When I did not hear From merchant after a couple of weeks I contacted their customer service via email. Turns out that they never had product in stock. Order eventually canceled and I was told that I would be issued a refund. After I got my credit card statement it did not show the credit. I contacted merchant again and they said they would take care of it. Got next credit card statement and it still does not show refund. I put the charge in dispute with my credit card company and they have issued me a "temporary conditional" credit until this dispute is resolved between the merchant and me. Merchant still claims the credit went through on his end and that this is now my problem with the credit card company (Citicard). Citicard tells me they never got the credit from the merchant. Please see attached emails and order confirmation. Bottom line is that this merchant took my money and never sent product and has not yet refunded me.

Delayed reversal of charges
On May 11, 2009 I placed an order thru Boatfix.com for some docklines, with a value of $100.51 and facilitated them my credit card thru their website. Eventhough I found later that the items I had ordered turned out to be on backorder with no clear date of shipping, Boatfix.com proceeded to post the full charge on my card at the time of purchase. I complained about this and asked them to cancel the order and reverse the charge, which they agreed to, and indicated that "Notice of refund due has been sent to our accounting department". The charge was posted on May 11, the order was cancelled on May 18, all I have been getting from them is the runaround, and I´m still waiting for my refund. To top it off, after my reluctance in accepting all kinds of absurd excuses on their part, on May 22 I was told "You are choosing not to accept anything you are told. I will not argue it any further. Mike - BoatFix Staff". As you can see, I was not given many options. I am very concerned because it is not normal for a vendor to take so much time to process a reversal of charges. All I want is for them to expedite giving me back my money, allthough I will never buy from these people again.
