Do not keep their word on claims
Over many years I have bought from Bob's Discount Furniture|. EVERY time the furniture has arrived damaged or they have damaged my home while they build the furniture in my room|. When I complained for the latest mess I got a run around for 8 months! When they claim to order parts, it is not true.. They do not follow up and they do not stand by their word on anything said|. I will never shop at Bob's again;. I would gladly pay more for furniture from a real store". I actually suspect they are having financial problems from all the prior posts and that they do not to make customers whole including me.. Watch out for them getting your money and not giving what you bought!

Horrible Service
Worst store ever. I've never experienced such a horrible store in my entire life. Managers, Jeff and Joe are rude and don't follow through. The sales people are uneducated and unaware of what's going on. I waited 7 months for my couches because they brought the wrong couches 5 times and than every time they were on back order. I do NOT recommend this store.

Not answering the phone
I bought a dinning room set at bobs ;When i looked it over i noticed that on a couple of chairs there were nicks . I tried to call Bobs and tell them. I got a girl at the desk who for one thing I could not understand her also she connected me to customer service. Well let me tell you I had to call back four times because they had me on hold for an half an hour each time. Finally when I asked her not to connect me to customer sevice she said she would have to send an e=mail to them. You know when people come to my house and ask where I got my furniture I guess I will tell them to go else where because if there is anything wrong with it you can't contact the store. I feel this is bad business if you can;t talk to a person about a problem. Its too bad they take your money and then forget about you.

damaged goods
This outfit will cause you fits. First quality is bogus you get what you pay for. Contact with a phone is virtually impossible and by the way the fish are nice but they don't talk or handle complaints.

couch
I BOUGHT A COUCH SET AND CHAIR, GOT THE GOOFPROOF AND THE COUCH WAS DAMAGED JUST STARTED RIPPING ALL OVER, SO THEY BROUGHT A NEW ONE .6MONTHS LATER IT IS STARTING TO DO IT AGAIN, WOW, GOOFPROOF DOESN'T COVER IT TWICE, DID THEY EVER TELL YOU THAT, NEVER TOLD OR EXPLAINED TO ME ..SO THEY TELL ME THAT U CAN'T GET REPLACEMENTS FOR THE FURNITURE OR PARTs!!!so they send someone out to look at the couch, 3weeks later, i finally call them, now they suddenly have the parts and i have to pay for them wtf is that about ...

No customer service
I have tried calling customer service to repair a PowerBob each of the last 4 days and every time I call the person I speak with tells me a rep will call me back AND NOBODY HAS EVER ACTUALLY CALLED ME BACK. The only bed I have to sleep on is unusable and nobody from Bob's will call me back to send a technician to fix it! Bob's sells cheap stuff and won't fix it Stay Away!

8 months of damaged furniture and no help to replace or repair
Furniture and service is crap my wife and I have been calling bobs and guardsmanfor over a year with my sectional colapsiing spring popping out pillows coming off the back and I called and bobs cant help and guardman said I called them to late for them to help what kind scam is this if bobs sells you insurance and it don't help so what am I to do, they say my kids might have cause the damage but my youngest is 8, 10 and17 they are human not animals.

I will never use Bobs Furniture EVER AGAIN!
I am so through with dealing with bobs and their DRAMA!!! I previously made a purchase from the Yonkers location and it has been nothing but problems. First my deliveries went wrong.. Ask me how one delivery, turned into 3 !?!?!?!. Then when I canceled some things on my order due to problems, they are giving me a hard time getting my money back. Then the queen size bed I purchased, the bed slats are damaged, and trying to get new ones is not easy. Then when I made my purchase, I added the goof proof plan and I have not received any paper work for it and when I contacted the store regarding the issue, I was told that store would mail me out the information and of course I have not received anything. I don't understand why I should have to go through so *** much. What happen to good customer service because from my experience it definitely does NOT exist at BOBS. I have contacted the store on numerous occasions regarding my issues and I am always put on hold and then after a few minutes, the call mysteriously gets disconnected. Then when I contact customer service I am given the run around. I am sick of this *** and I am going to report BOBS because I am not the only one who has issue with them. Something seriously needs to be done about the service received by Bobs Furniture. I will NEVER recommend Bobs Furniture to anyone ever again.

Delivery is a Joke
I went to Bobs Discount Furniture in Worcester, MA and purchased a Living room set and dining room set. The delivery was scheduled and I was informed that a courtesy call would be made the day before the delivery..I NEVER got such a call from them & when I tracked my delivery online it stated they would be at my house between 10A and 1P. They came at 830A & I had taken my son to school so I missed them and when I called to reschedule a VERY rude customer service person told me I had to wait for a whole week before I could get my furniture!! I waited for a whole week and they didnt show up on scheduled day!! When I called another very rude & very bored sounding representative stated that they did not have my delivery schedule on file!!! :upset I'm livid & I dont have any furniture in my home as I sold my old furniture!! It's been 2 weeks of ***, sitting & eating on the floor!I HATE Bobs Furniture & I will NEVER shop there EVER!!! I dont know what to do...I paid them cash and they now tell me it will take about 2 weeks to get a refund!! I'm going CRAZY!!

Zero service
I did fall like many for the bobs discount furniture sales and his non stop adds on tv.i did by a very expensive matress and box spring thinking this would last for several years.well surprise the matress did not last more than a year and a half i went into a store after trying to get a phone person and all i got on the phone was the *** marketing voice of bobnever able to get threw on the phone i then went to the store that i brought this threw was welcomed with open arms sat down to there cafe making sure i brought all paper work found multiple glass containers with stale candy in them not a good start after explaining the matressi was told our brilliant president has decided to tax this newe piece $53.00 ALL SET UPTO DELIVER WELL WRONG SIZE SURPRISE CALLING THE STORE AGAIN PROMISED A NEW DELIVERY IF THERE WAS PROBLEM WITH TIME PRESS SOME NUMBER OF COURCE IT WAS BOBS VOICE ON RECORDING HIT THE BUTTON AGAIN GETTYING NO WHERE NEVER GETTING A CALL FROM THER STORE OR DELIVERY COMPANY YET TODAY AS I WAITED LOST A DAYS PAY NO PHONE CALL FROM DELIVERY OR STORE I HAVE CHASEDSOME YOUNG MAN ANSWERINGA PHONE AT THE STORECOULD NOT CARE LESS HE CLAIMS HE E MAILED 2 TIMES TO THE DELEVERY COMPANY NO ANSWER, AFTER HE PROMISED CLOSE TO HOUR AGO HE WILL CALL ME BACK WITH ANSWER I FIND THIS A COMPLETE DISCRACE AND A COMPLETE JOKE AS WELL INSTEAD OF BOB CHATTING WITH HIS CHILD LIKE MESSAGES SOME ONE SHOULD TAKE A COURCE ON LIVE ANSWERING A PHONE WITH HUMBLE HONEST OWNERSHIP ITS A VERY QUICK FALL OFF A MOUNTIAN I GUESS IT SEEMS TO BE FORGOTTEN HOW YOU GOT TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW
