They charge $45 for delivery
I had purchased a couch and entertainment center from Bobs in New Bedford, Mass...well I WILL NEVER again do business with this place they hire "delivery people" who cant deliver a package of tomatoes never mind furniture...they were rushing because they had so many deliveries and couldnt be bothered to get the couch upstairs they said it was too big...bull crap...got my money back for both items over 1k and they lost not 1 but 6 customers as I am spreading the word...and they have cheap stuff as well dont fall for there BOB O PEDIC is crap spend the extra for good furniture the manager there is an ***

Scam
I ordered a sofa a love seat from Bob's on January 14th. I was assured that both pieces were in stock. My scheduled delivery date was Jan 18th. On January 18th, I received a call saying the sofa was on back order. They still wanted to deliver the love seat. I requested that both pieces get delivered together. They assured me I would have both pieces delivered on January 25th. I received a call on the 24th stating I would have my delivery in the morning. I throw out my old set in anticipation of the delivery. On the 25th the delivery men showed up with just the love seat. I called the store and they said, I would have delivery of the sofa on Jan 28th. On Jan 28th the sofa was not delivered and they are now estimating my delivery for Feb 14th. I am reporting the store to the NJ Dept of consumers affairs. They took my money in full for a sale that they had no intention of honoring. I think there having money issue's proceed with caution.

No one seems to know what the other is doing
Do not use delivery service. No one seems to know what they are doing. Claimed couldnt find my house. Had wrong zip code switched last to numbers Which in turn brought them to the wrong town. Even after calling and spending hours tring to staighten it out the next day got phone call again cant find house still never changed zip code so again they ended up in wrong town. I think Bob's need to hire individuals with more than a 1st grade education. I will never purchase from Bob's again and will definetly not recommend Bob's.

Never order from them
I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever order from bobs furniture ever again. The customer service is terrible, noone there knows how to return a phone call or schedule a delivery, they don't even know how to place an order. I have sat on the phone on hold 3 times, once for 57 minutes, once for 40 minutes and once for an hour on top of waiting 3 hrs in the store for the order to be processed. Every single piece that I ordered from Bob's was damaged so after waiting for an hr on hold, they sent someone to service the furniture. After someone came to look at the furniture, they basically covered up the scratches with paint and told me they were going to replace the headboard. Again, no one ever called to tell me when my parts were going to be replaced. Now its 1/25 the day my mattress was supposed to be delivered and surprise surprise, no mattress. Again after waiting for a half hr on the phone, they tell me the order was currently placed and no delivery address wasn't attached to the order, again, no one called. I am currently on the phone with bob's ON HOLD, AGAIN to refund and pick up all my furniture. It is officially my life's mission to destroy bobs furniture name.

Bad service
I ordered over $3000 of furniture in November. Scheduled a delivery for 2nd wkd in Dec. they came a week early and i had to turn them away, they came back the day they were supposed to with all my furniture excpet a dining room table.I got 6 chairs with no table. they said it was on backorder. Rescheduled delivery for 12/24- CHRISTMAS EVE!! Like I had nothing better to do but wait for Bobs all day. By afternoon, nothing came. Called and they said for some reason, it never made it on their delivery schedule. Rescheduled for 1/14. THey called to tell me because of snowstorm, never made it on the truck. Rescheduled for today, 1/20. never got a confirmation call so i called and they said its still on backorder and wouldnt be available until 2/15. i'm soooo pissed!!!

Push back delivery date for 5 times and waiting for the refund
I ordered a love seat couch in September 2010 and I was thinking while I am renovating the apartment at the time so I can afford to wait a little bit. The sales were saying the wait time could be up to 5 months. After renovation, I move in November 2010 and decide to stop by the bob's store to ask how they doing with the order. The clerk told me the order is ready to ship. I was surprised that it only takes them 2 months though they were saying it could take 5 months previously. so I happily pay the rest of the balance and schedule an delivery date in November 2010, but since then, the delivery date has been reschedule for 5 times (not my fault, bob push back date) and it is now almost Feb 2011 and I still don't see my couch. Everytime they give you excuses like "your order hasn't arrived to shipping warehouse yet", "This is holiday season.", Shipping team is busy. Shipping team is on vacation for holiday", "It was snowing in CT and truck got bury in snow"...Finally, I had enough so I ask for a refund and they say it will take 3 to 5 days to get money onto my credit card. This is day two waiting for refund and waiting...Don't shop at Bob. They gave me 100 dollar "gift card" for my trouble..., but who has the right mind to shop there again??!?? Dont shop at BOB!

They were rude and disrespectful
I went on the phone cause i had a hole in my couch and needed it fixed i paid for the protection plan and they made me wait more than anhour to tlk to them and they were very rude about it i dont and will not ever tell anybody to shop at the store in nanuet new york!!! the worst service i ever had. these people gave me such a hard time just to tlk i dont think any company should be giving any of there customers a hard time these people werent even helpful or anything and i paid alot of money for my purchase the least they couild of done was be nice to me.

Don't ever shop there
DO NOT EVER SHOP AT DISCOUNT BOBS! I ordered an entire houseful of furniture and paid cash (10K). I have had nothing but problems with the 'superbobs' sofa since delivery. The drawer didn't work, so they sent another sofa, but the delivery men tore it when removing the wrapping. So they 'rigged' the drawer and it never stayed shut. A tech came and fixed it, then the one recliner broke (doesn’t recline) and is 'coming away from the sofa'. This is all within 3 months of delivery! The tech that looked at the recliner told us he would order a new sofa. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything, I called customer service. She said the tech said the recliner broke BECAUSE OF THE CUSTOMER! How dare he! No one here does gymnastics on it that it should break, and even if we did it should be made to hold up for at least a year. I scheduled a 2nd opinion but those idiots SENT THE SAME TECH! So he never came and I AGAIN rescheduled for a THIRD time next week, for a 2nd opinion. I bought the goof proof but it's only good AFTER one year! I have an $800.00 flower pot! I am so sorry I went there, wish I had seen the reviews 1st!! If they do no replace my sofa, I will go to an attorney and small claims court, it’s the principal of it!

Left my hanging
Never Again! And, that I recommend that to everyone. Go to the Other furniture store, you know which one. The one that delivers on time, not 45 days later; the one that has the furniture on its showroom floor, not order from the maker, have them make it, then buy it, then ship it the the warehouse, so they can call me and say it on its way to the store; The one that has a warehouse close by so you can pick it up anytime you want, with out having to go miles away to Conn.. Plain and simple, they stink! Thank you very much, I feel better.

Stay away
My mistake to sign a paper, even though i wrote next to the signature, that the bed had some parts missing. i was told by the delivery people not to worry about, that someone will comeback with the missing parts and assemble the bed. i am still waiting and since i do not want to mess up my credit i am paying for something i have not used for the last 5 months. i went to the store at flushing queens ny and the manager promised me heaven and earth. i never heard again form the store. i have waisted my time calling over and over, left messages in recordings. acouple of times someone picked up and gave a run around speech, but i am still with the unassembled bed occupying space in the middle of my L R. i am considering suing the store, but working, bu i havent got the time. I will NEVER BUY AGAIN AT THAT STORE. I AM PISSED OFF. . at least thanks for REDING MY FRUSTRATION even if this writing doES not solve my problem.
