Bed Bugs
We moved to a brand new appartment in January, and we also purchased every thing at Bob s Furniture. it was the worst experience ever; we have to call almost every day to get the furniture, we finally got the living room in March, 2 moths after. ever since we've been sleeping on that my husband when we wake up we've been having red spots in the arms specially and it's very scratchy. we thought we were allergic to the mattress fabric so i went and buy and mattress pad, and it didn t stop, until 2 two ago i found a giant BED BUG c rowling on my bed, i was so surprised. that s when i realized i purchased a bed with bed bugs in it. So i called them, they were vey rude, telling me they cant do anything about, they don t have bugs in their depot. I couldn t even talk to the manager. I am very desapointed, very angry!

Sofa and love seat, box spring
Bought "leather blend" sofa and love seat that was delivered 11/25/09...Six month later top layer of fabric started to peel off..monitored fabric, just got worse. Called Bob's in Niantic, Ct in 11/10 to have it replaced..Instructed me to call Guardsman because I have the "goof proof"...they told me it was a warranty issue...by this time in December, warrenty was not in place. Customer Care would not help me, sent two technicans to my home and INSISTED it was damage from a animal...could not answer why it was only peeling off in some areas and not others. If I truly had an "animal", the furniture would be breaking apart every where, not just in certain areas. I have no animals or small children. The furniture was not in the sun. This technician Nick came to my home on 2/2 and started yelling at me that I have an animal somewhere in my home, proceeded to look around my home, their was no animal...I asked him "what am I to do now"???...stated "call Better Business Bureau". According to Stephanie, supervisor at Bob's Customer Care, I have no recourse. Payed the extra three hundred dollars for "goof proof" because I was told that if I had a problem with the furniture, it would be addressed. I know that Bob's has very "sub-standared" quality of furniture, that is why I purchased the "goof proof".. Paid over five thousnad dollars in purchased furniture at Bobs...My son's furniture is falling apart, the box spring to his queen sized bed as been replaced once and still is ripping on the bottom.. He now sleeps in the guest room until I can afford to buy him a decent mattress set.
I never in my wildest dreams thought this would happen, my furniture is deteroirating, my son no longer has his own bed and I have cryed, begged, and yelled at people out of frustration...
Can anyone please give me any idea of what to do next...????????

Misleading Furniture and prices
I saw a sofa that looked so soft and puffy, but when i jumped onto it, it was as hard as a rock. Also, I saw a table that was missing a leg so they took 1/4 price off...

Furniture
I order a new dresser hoping that it would be brought to my house exactly how i ordered it. It was delivered to my house with a huge scratch and the complete oppiste color i wanted. I will never oder from Bob agian.

Rude and Unhelpful Staff...Crappy Products
This company is crap horrible customer service and the technicians that make repairs have the combined IQ of a grape. My bed feel apart due to faulty slats and they did a piss poor job repairing it. It broke a second time the guy removed the slats and left and then when I called to complain I got no assistance was tossed around and eventually hung up on. Finally I had to purchase an all new set. SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR MONEY!!!

Delivery of Kitchen Table
Ordered a kitchen table set on November 28, 2009. Was assured verbally that it would be in before Christmas. That didnt happen. I had a delivery date of 12/26/09 between 4:30-7:30pm. They called at 12:15pm and stated the delivery people are early and would be there in 45 mins if that was OK. I re-arranged my prior engagements as to be available for the delivery. I also broke down my other table in a hurry and stored in basement along with chairs. I called at 1:15pm (an hr later) and the women told me it would be there by 1:30. I called again at 1:50 and they told me they were in New Haven and would be there in 15 mins. I called again at 2:20 and they were in Wallingford which is opposite direction of where I live. I requested a refund on the $60.00 delivery charge and was denied. I canceled the order and Bobs missed out on $700.00 not that it would effect them. I would rather go pay much more with better customer service. The delivery company initiated the first call and wanted to adjust the time. I missed out on my engagements waiting for them and after my last call they still werent sure when they would be here. Their merchandise and prices are not that good that they can just treat their customers like you know what

broken and ripped
my couch ripped at seams after 2 months they sent people to repair it but a week later ripped again did this numerous times and it still is ripped on all seams. Also after 18 months couch broke where bed is i now have plywood under so people can sit without sinking never will buy from there again

Terrible Customer Service
They are liars! You would think in this horrible economy they would be kissing your feet! I recently went to bobs to buy a new bedroom set, and mattress for our new apartment. First he told me all the parts were all in stock. Then he told me it could be at my new apartment the day I moved in (Saturday). We decided it was perfect and went forward and bought it. Once my boyfriend signed the paperwork, his whole story changed. All the parts were not in stock and it would not be shipped until later on the following week!! He was a complete liar! Make sure you get the correct story before you sign anything!!!

Leather Love Seat and Sofa
So I decided to get a "leather" love seat and sofa from Bobs...When they shipped the furniture they didn't mentioned or measure the doors to see IF they would fit...Wouldn't you assume that they would have more knowledge in regards to helping you out with measurements. Or at least advise IF IT"S POSSIBLE!
Ohhh no no no they wedged the love seat and sofa though a 32" door when the furniture is 35". They ripped parts of the leather, broke the back portion of the love seat "frame". AND chipped my doorway...
I called to see if a "Tech" would come and see if it's possible to fix and not send them back... I just said hell with it...and wanted to see if they had something else. Nothing I wanted would fit through my door, all measurements are too big. I just want my money back……
Wouldn’t you assume that they would try to help you find something similar or something that would fit? NOPE, they didn’t care, I assumed since times are tough now they would TRY to accommodate me with something… NOPE no interest.
I said…”I want my money and I do not want to deal with this POOR service…… did they care... NOPE!
Best part! They didn’t refund everything I paid for the Love Seat and Sofa…..They said that they would charge me for the delivery since it was not a manufacturing damage???????? WHAT!!! …..THEY DAMAGED IT WHEN THEY WEDGED IN THE DOOR……
So my question … How do I get my money for delivery back?
I have pictures to prove they ripped it before returning it!
