Unable to get what I needed
I needed a 7 inch bodum glass. I had to buy a 6 inch. Local store couldn't help because Bodum requires too high an order for them!.
I have a lovely silver frame for my Bodum coffee press!. It makes great coffee and I love it:. Occasionally I need to replace the glass!. This time I went to a local kitchen store/. Because Bodum requires retail dealers to buy so much, I was unable to deal locally, . So I went on the internet.. The glass available on the internet was wrong for my frame. So I had to get a smaller - 6" rather than 7"- which makes less coffee and is a bit tippy

Insulated cup defective
I bought a Bodum insulated porcelain tea mug, manufactured in China. The silicone material of which the insulating sleeve is made gives off a perceptible odor which becomes much stronger when the cup is filled with hot liquid. At that time, there is a very noticeable odor of synthetic rubber, "dirty dish water", "rubber floor mat", or however you'd like to describe it. This smell masks the aroma of the tea, making it impossible to enjoy the beverage. The Bodum company said they had not heard of this problem and sent me two new cups. This did not solve the problem, since the two new cups smell, too. At that point, they said they couldn't do anything more for me since I had not purchased the cup directly from them. I would like a refund of the original purchase price, $9.95 plus 9.5% sales tax, since I consider the product to be defective.
