I purchased a laser hair removal package from them at a promotional price that was only available for a very limited time. It was a very good deal, and I was very excited for the service. After my first appointment, I was disappointed. The technician did not cover all the areas typically covered in the procedure I had paid for and was expecting. When I emailed the owner, Kanna, about it, she explained to me that although other companies "may include that, we don't, nor have we ever." We emailed back and forth over the course of a week with me trying to understand why she never, in her promotion, explained that her "Brazilian" service was different than what a "Brazilian" service is at every other salon I've heard of. I also explained that had I known, I would have perhaps bought another package at the promotional rate to cover the areas I wanted treated. Basically, I felt as if she was trying to get me to purchase the "extra areas" I thought (and should have, as per what "Brazilian" entails) I was receiving at a higher price. I felt cheated. It would be like a hairdresser offering a haircut at a great price but only cutting half of your hair. When I purchased a "Brazilian" package, I expected a very specific type of service. Her company actually offers a modified "Brazilian" but nowhere dealing with this promotion did they state that. Nowhere even on their website. As a matter of fact, in regards to questions people were asking about the promotion, Kanna had said (on a FAQ site: http://www.groupon.com/deals/body-solutions-laser-and-skin/posts) "Brazilian is everything gone" and also, "Brazilian is what you want everything or leave a bit it's a personal preference." I don't think my confusion was that unfounded.
She never had an answer for me and simply insisted that I was "reading into the responses (she) made." Also, "clearly you thought you were to get more treatment than you did; I've now clarified that for you, " and finally this: "Sorry that you are unhappy, I don't think it is possible to satisfy your needs." HORRIBLE customer service, I would not recommend them or their services to anyone.
