NON REFOUND
I made a reservation fully paid with BOOK IN HOTELS for 4 nights in the Rome Columbus Hotel, reservation No. BKH-700554-219210 from Aug 10, 2009 to Aug 13, 2009. This company cancelled our reservation with no reason on Aug 05, 2009, they send me an e-mail saying they were going to refund to my credit card the $589.33 EUR I paid. At this time I haven't received any money, I sent them many e-mails, they never answered and now it seams this company have disappeared. This company have cheated on many people all over the world. Does any one now what can we do to make this company pay for what they must?desapeard

Non-delivery of paid service
I should have read all the complaints about Book in Hotels before making a prepaid 9-day reservation with them for the wonderful Graben Hotel in Vienna. What the other complainants say about this shifty operation is certainly true. Our booking was made in July for a stay the following March; the reservation was cancelled a few weeks after it was made. We weren't notified of the cancellation, of course, and showed up at the Graben dog tired only to learn that we had no room. Very unpleasant, to say the least. But our credit card provider was able quickly to extract a full refund. So our advice is, if you've been ripped off and haven't got your money back, don't waste time trying to contact Book in Hotels directly; get in touch with your cc provider and let them use their muscle, because they have more of it than you do. Better yet, be warned and simply don't deal with these folks.

they stole my money
I booked a hotel with book in hotels in July 2009 for 588 $. I cancelled the booking 2 months before going (should be without penalty). After 2 months they said that they returned my money back which never happened. They are just a group of thieves.

Ripped Off
In Sept '09 we had our bookings cancelled at the Amazon Hotel in Athens. Book in Hotels apparently did not meet their obligations. We paid by credit card the previous November. They had our money for about 10 months and didn't bother to advise us of the cancellation until after we were due to book in. Luckily The Amazon Hotel had a room available and agreed to let us stay for the same rate that Book IN Hotels had specified. I have rung this mob of crooks many times and as yet I have not had anyone bother to answer a phone. I have sent many emails, but the gutless bastards can't even reply.
DON'T USE BOOK IN HOTELS. THEY AT BEST ARE SHONKS AND AT WORST THIEVES.

Failure to refund
I booked a room in Barcelona for three days in August with Book In Hotels. They debited my credit card almost immediately but cancelled the room the day before I was to arrive without any notification to me. Also they never paid the hotel!!
I still haven't been refunded despite numerous phone calls, emails etc. Does anybody have an actual address for these people???

WAITING ON REFUND SINCE JULY
I have a complaint against a company called Book In Hotels. I made a reservation with them for a hotel in Memphis through the internet back in June. We were unable to travel due to illness. I contacted them straight away when I knew we could not travel and cancelled the booking in July. bookinhotels.com promised a refund within 15 days. I am still waiting for the refund. I am constantly emailing them but no emails are returned. I have faxed and also tried ringing them but no reply. Is there anyone, a council or complaint board that I can contact to get my refund back. Why should bookinhotels.com be allowed to swindle my refund? I am very frustrated about the situation. I will never book accommodation through this company again. Can anyone please offer advise or help? I can send you proof of booking made, cancellation acknowledgment and promise of refund correspondence. Please let me know what is needed. Thanking you.

Reservaton cancelled
October 2009. I booked a hotel in Hong Kong with bookin.com only to find when I arrived at the hotel the booking had been cancelled. My money has gone and after reading further comments about this company I hold very little hope of ever being refunded. DO NOT BOOK WITH BOOK IN HOTELS.com

FRAUD
On Jan 22/09 I made 2 hotel bookings at the Metcourt Laurel Hotel in Johannesburg for August 18 and Sept 14/09. My credit card was charged on Jan 22. On August 14 I was advised that my reservation was cancelled due to some problem with their "supplier". I complained by email and asked about my next booking and was told it would be OK. On Sept 12 I was advised the next booking was also cancelled for the same reason. To date 9/28 there have been no refunds and my cc company is working on the problem. I tried to phone their US number as shown on their website but all you get is a recording in a language which I do not even recognise let alone understand. Obviously they do not intend to help. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY PURPOSE.

Anchorage
I made a booking for the Red Roof Inn Hotel at Anchorage in April 09 and
was sent an email confirming the booking and also a voucher
which I printed out for use at this hotel on 5 Sept 09 for 1 night.
When I got to the hotel, they would not recognise the voucher as they said
the reservation nos or agency nos were not ones they recognised. The email
from Book in Hotels confirmed that I paid for this booking with my credit card. The hotel tried to ring Book in Hotels on my behalf but could not get through. I ended up
paying US $88.48 for another room.
I have tried on numerous occasions to contact Book in Hotels for a refund for the original amount I paid plus an explanation as to what happened with my booking but have not been able to get through on the phone and my emails have returned as undeliverable.

Book in hotels steal money! Dont ever do reservation with them !!! They tak your money and 2 days befor departure Your reservation is going to be cancelled !!! It happened to me! They never payed me back !!!
DO NOT USE BOOKIN HOTELS !!! your vacation is going to be nightmare!
