On 11/26/2010 I looked up the tracking number to find out the status of my order. I went to USPS website to check the order and received the following message:
Track & Confirm FAQs
Label/Receipt Number: EE40 2059 945C N
There is no record of this item.
I immediately went to the website and sent an email to the CONTACT US section of the database and asked for a status update. I did not hear back from merchant.
When I received my Visa statement a week or so later, I noticed a charge in the amount of $102.34 from Fashion Shoes Store Shanghai and not for $98.00 as indicated on the invoice. I immediately sent a dispute to my credit card company and sent another email to BOOTSSHOP on 12/15/2010. When I sent the email to the CONTACT US section of their website, I received the following message:
"Unable to send e-mail. Please contact the site administrator if the problem persists.
Your message has been sent to us successfully ! We'll reply as soon as possible !
Go back to the form"
Today, after receiving a phone call from my credit card asking for additional proof that I truly contacted the company, I decided to sent another email to BOOTSSHOP and received the same exact response. "UNABLE TO SEND E-MAIL. ... ". I'm not sure what else I can possibly do, when the website does not have a phone number and the CONTACT US email address does not work. I wonder how many other people got scammed like me?
What really gets me is that this website did not lead on whatsoever that the items where being shipped from China. Since my Visa statement indicates such, I checked the EMS website (I checked USPS per my invoice for status update) today and the following message showed up:
Online Tracking
ä¿¡æ¯æ示:No information for this tracking.
I have shopped on line many times before (and after) this experience and I will not let it deter me going forward. I just hope my email can help make a diference to hopefully shut down BOOTTSSHOP/NEWBOOTS99 website immediately to avoid more victims. If you are aware of another phone number or email address I can contact or report these people to, please send to [email protected].
Best regards,
