Dear Verizon,
Just wanted to say thanks for making my life a living hell the past four days. Besides being on the phone with your talented staff for over 4 hours and bumped 7 times from department to department, you managed to completely delete all my files and my email address. Now you claim it is unrecoverable for at least six months. Then if I’m lucky I MIGHT get it back. Forget about the fact that I had that email address for over 15 years and paid extra to keep it because it was an old dial up account. But even after I paid for both a dialup and DSL lines for all these years, what do I get? The run-around, unsurpassed incompetence, and “it's not our departments fault”. Just like a 10 year child full of excuses. In this world of technology and with all your great claims your company makes, I find it hard to believe you can be so wrong and inept. I guess small businesses don’t really count in your world. If I had the same attitude in my small business, I would be out of business. Four people in your company told me that you could repoint my address to another address. Repoint my ass! All I got was deleted. No backup plan, no plan in case something went wrong, no warning that it could not be reversed, no way to reverse it, just sorry: “it’s too late”. Well, I will remember that every time I go to pay my bill. Who knows how much business I will lose? Who knows how much wasted time I will spend re-doing all the things that was associated with my email address? Who knows how many contacts I will lose? Bad advice, poor customer service, and horrible tech support. Good job Verizon. Can’t wait to recommend you to my friends!
