If you order it, you might as well plan on hiring a moving team. Although this website's shipping policy says that the driver will assist you with getting the shipment off of the truck, I found out the hard way that you should be prepared that they won't.
Thank goodness the freight company called and told me that the driver was not contracted to help out, because there was no way my husband could unload theater seating for four by his self. I called Boston Tables and they said although their shipping policy states that the delivery is "driver assist", they can't make anyone help with unloading the product. The representative for Boston Tables, Dana, in case you have the unpleasant luck of speaking with her, told me that she did not know why I was making such a huge ordeal out of this. I told her I wasn not making a huge ordeal, I was simply asking why they state one thing in their policy and don't provide the service they tell you they do. She literally was yelling at me when I got on a three way call with her and the lady at the freight company. I asked to speak with the owner, and he was there, but refused to speak to me. He told me, through the lovely Dana, that he was ordering the shipment to be returned, and my money would be refunded.
My husband was very upset since he was counting on the seating. He called both the freight company and Boston Tables, and encountered the same rude Dana that I did. The lady at the freight company told my husband that she had never heard anyone receive such poor customer service as I did from Dana.
So, moral of the story...the products are cheap for a reason. This is the MOST unprofessional company that I have EVER encountered.
