Fraud
After losing our beloved Boxer of 13 years, we decided we needed another boxer in our life. This was an important decision for us, as our boxers are like our kids. We put a $600 deposit down for a puppy from this breeder (Jamie Larsen), after being impressed with her website. We did this in December of 2008. We were told that we could not chooses the sex of the puppy, and that it would be decided by the breeder after the puppies were born. On December 19, 2008, we received an E-mail from Jamie Larsen announcing the birth of 6 males and 4 females, and we were elated. On January 3, 2009, we received an E-mail noting that all the puppies had died after contracting a virus (likely herpes, she said). This was devastating to us, as my Mother had died one week before losing my boxer, and we were so looking forward to a new puppy. So we asked for our deposit to be returned so that we could begin the process of looking for another puppy. Jamie Larsen responded by offering a "breeder" dog that we would have to agree to go through a future breeding process. That was not what we wanted, as we are not breeders, and only wanted a puppy to treat as a member of our family. We tried to make it clear that her option was not an option for us. After contacting her, and not hearing from her for several weeks (excuses like misplacing her cell phone etc.), she finally E-mailed us offering another boxer (not a puppy). We said we were not interested and would appreciate our refund. On April 25, 2009, she said that we would have to wait for her next litter to get our refund. Her next E-mail was in August of 2009 saying that her litter was doing well and that when the puppies started to be sold, she would send us our refund. On January 19, 2010, she said she had been ill and was giving her puppies away. By this time, we did not trust the health of her breeds nor the integrity of the breeder. She actually offered to give us a dog that we could sell and then get our money back. We are not breeders. We just wanted to add a new member to our family. And this was well over a year after this all started. Finally on May 18, 2010, she E-mailed us saying that she had our $600 and would send it when she heard from us. We E-mailed her back and thanked her and asked her to send the check. We have not heard from her since. We feel we’ve been pretty patient and are moving forward to small claims court. It has been two years.

Sells sick puppies
I purchased a Boxer from this breeder (Jamie Larsen). She claimed the boxer had a slight case of coccidia but that the dog had been treated and was fine. She promised to get the puppy a clean bill of health prior to my family picking up the dog. A couple days prior to the pickup date Jamie Larsen called and gave me some sob story about not being able to afford a vet visit for the puppy due to her own medical bills but again insured me that the puppy was fine and I agreed to take her in and get her checked out (which I was going to do anyway). Idiot me believed her and she turned out to be the most unethical breeder I have ever come accross. Within minutes of getting the puppy home she started pooping blood, a substantial amount. I called Jamie immediatly and she again told me not to worry and it and that it was just a touch of the coccidia left in her system. I had a vet appointment a couple of days later and I find out that the puppy has cataracts, ear infections, underweight and a horribly untreated case of worms which was causing the severe rectal bleeding. Again I called Jamie and she had the nerve to act surprised. I also find out from her that she has already sold this puppy once before and the dog was returned. I told her that I wanted a refund and after going back and forth a few times she agreed to refund the money and take the puppy back. Seemed like an equitable solution until the bipolar (im not a doctor but this "lady" to me is a complete nut job) in her set in. One minute she would agree to a refund, the next minute she tells me essentially buyer beware, the next minute she wants the puppy back at all costs, next minute she doesnt care is the puppy lives or dies. Stay away from this breeder at all costs. To me she has no interest in the breed as she claims to over and over on her site. She is mearly in it to sell sickly dogs and make a quick unethical buck (high in sight is 2020 and I should have known from the squalor she and her children live in). Currently I am getting ready to sue her socks off, not for the money but to get her cruel treatment of dogs to stop
